Tuesday, September 21st Day 1 Maritimes - Quebec City

Meet your Driver and Tour Director for your Ottawa & Quebec City Tour. The tour begins early this morning in Halifax and will stop to pick up passengers in Dartmouth, Truro, Aulac, Salisbury, Lincoln, and Woodstock along the way. Transfers are available from and Borden-Carleton. A stop will be made for lunch at Acorn Restaurant (not included) in Lake George, NB. Your Tour Director will help keep you busy with games and entertainment on the coach. Before arriving at the hotel you will stop for an included dinner at a local restaurant. Later you will check in to the Quality Suites Quebec and the remainder of the evening is at your leisure.

Wednesday, September 22nd Day 2 Quebec City - Ottawa

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. This morning you check out of the hotel and make your way to Ottawa. Stops at for rest breaks and lunch (not included) before arriving at our host hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa East. This evening we will have a group dinner at the Byward Market.

Thursday, September 23rd Day 3 Ottawa

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. This morning you will be joined by a Local Step- on Guide for a sightseeing tour where you will learn about the Parliament Buildings, , , and more. This afternoon is a free time to explore Ottawa on your own. Transfers will be set up to visit the Canadian War Museum or the Museum of History. Enjoy free time to explore downtown Ottawa to have lunch (not included) and explore the many museums, shop along Sparks Street. Transportation back to the hotel will be provided at specified times.

Ottawa & Quebec City 2021 1 Friday, September 24th Day 4 Ottawa - Quebec City

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. This morning you check out and return to Quebec City. Stops will be made for rest breaks and lunch (not included) along the way. Your Tour Director will help pass the time with onboard entertainment while travelling. This afternoon, you check in to the Quality Suites Quebec. Once settled, we will transfer you to for free time to explore the shops and stroll the cobblestone streets. This evening you are free to have dinner (not included) at a local restaurant in Old Quebec. Return to the hotel later this evening.

Saturday, September 25th Day 5 Quebec City - Beaupré Coast - Quebec City

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. This morning you will meet a local Step-on Guide for a tour of Quebec City and the Beaupré Coast. We begin with a walking tour of Quebec's Old Town – the only North American fortified city north of whose walls still exist. The city was founded in the early 17th century by French explorer and it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. Next, you travel to the Beaupré Coast where we will visit the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica. Return to Old Quebec this afternoon for lunch (not included) and free time to explore on your own. Transfers will be available to the hotel or for shopping at specified times.

Sunday, September 26th Day 6 Return Home

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. This morning you check out of the hotel and make your way home. Stops will be made for rest breaks and lunch (not included) along the way. Arrive home in late this evening and say goodbye to your Driver and Tour Director with many happy memories of your Ottawa & Quebec City Tour.

Important Notes

Activity Level Travelling with Target Tours requires a certain level of activity in order to enjoy and participate in our tours. This tour requires the following: • Walking or standing for short periods of time • Climbing multiple sets of stairs • Walking on uneven surfaces • Able to accommodate walkers, canes, or collapsible wheelchairs For all tours please remember that the Tour Director is there to assist all members of the group. While they are happy to provide a helping hand from time to time they are unable to provide mobility assistance for extended periods of time during a tour. Therefore, all travellers must be able to manage their mobility independently.

Tour Director and Driver Your Tour Director and Driver play an important role in making your vacation as memorable and hassle-free as possible. While optional, gratuities are a great way to show your appreciation. The suggested industry guideline is $4.00 to $6.00 per person, per day for your Tour Director and also your Driver. This should be extended on a voluntary and individual basis at the completion of the tour.

Travel Protection Your tour price does not include travel protection. If you are covered, we advise you to look into coverage details, if there is a deductible, if you need to pay up front, and where to call in case of emergency. We highly recommend medical, trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage. If you would like a quote, please call our office at 1-877-214-5367. Please note that your Provincial Health Plan will not always fully cover all medical expenses incurred in other provinces.

After Booking • We will send you your receipt and proof of reservation via email or mail. • Before final payment we will reach out to you via phone or email to remind you of your final balance and determine final method of payment. • About 2 - 3 weeks prior to departure we will send you your Detailed Itinerary which will feature exact times and locations as well as details on your Tour Director. • Around one week before departure you will be contacted by your Tour Director via email or by phone to introduce themselves and ask if you have any questions before departure.
