The basement will be a speakeasy giving you a glimpse into the kitchen while offering exotic and unique chinese flavor infused cocktails. Each level will transform the guest into a different world where they can taste, smell, and visually partake in the Chinese culture. Given that, Swift took the next step and traveled to South Lake Tahoe to run nightclubs. In Aspen, he became a general manager of an Asian Fusion restaurant where his mind and creativity started to wander and the concept building for his own venture started. Floor Details Phase one: Street Level “Kitchen” – The look and feel will be new age trendy China: Chinese graffiti, TVs, LED signs, street lanterns, and all different colorful platings. The food is going to be fast, casual service. When walking into the restaurant, customers will be directed by a TV grid that will explain where to order food, beer, and what is upstairs (the guide for Bao Brewhouse). DO NOT COPY OR DISTRIBUTE long tables, group eating (yet social distance acceptable) will be where everyone congregates. Diners will order food from the counter and be given “something symbolled or numbered” so they can sit down and get their food delivered to the table. “Food To Go” - We are environmentally conscious so we’d prefer diners to sit and eat in our restaurant, but if they are on the go, yet crave our noodles, it will cost them a couple extra dollars to pay for our biodegradable utensils. These utensils will play off of the “Cup A noodle boxes” look. If they take our food out of the restaurant, we want to keep our brand awareness high and have people walking around/eating from our Bao Brewhouse branded boxes. Point is, even if a stranger on the streets sees it, they’ll know they’re enjoying a Bao Brewhouse meal. Phase two: 2nd Level Tea Room/Opium Den – The goal for the second level is to have a more traditional China feel: lanterns, red colors, and bathrooms to be partition dressing walls. This space will offer not only the drinks and beers from the kitchen level but will highlight our extensive tea and loose tea menu including teas on tap. Seating will consist of traditional pillows and cushions with different types of Chinese drapery over diners’ heads. Diners may enjoy a nice cocktail or a mini tea kettle at their table while they get work done or catch up with a friend. This space will be a more lounge/premium dining area with servers and full staff.
