Great Ocean Road Depart from your hotel in this morning, crossing the Barwon River mouth for a magical drive along the Great Ocean Road. There are stops in beautiful Lorne for morning tea and Apollo Bay for lunch before continuing through the lush and picturesque Otway Ranges to Lavers Hill and on to picture postcard Port Campbell where you see the famous Twelve Apostles. Some of the noted for- mations along this stretch include Loch Ard Gorge, the Grotto and London Bridge and the seascapes and semi tropical forest landscapes along the drive are utterly de- lightful. Stop in pretty Port Fairy in the late afternoon before arriving in Portland and checking in to your motel. Your tour leader can lead a town walk before dinner.
