She is said to have stolen a gem from the King of Toliary’s crown before the Conquest. The heart of this story is that she it while he was wearing it, and in his throne room, under guard. Her tongue was said to be as silver as the money she stole and she is ssaid to have talked her way out of a dragons layer when he caught her stealing. She was supposedly very pretty with red hair and blue eyes, her highth and other attributes change according to the story teller.

Sir Olgier the Mighty- Sir Olgier won more tournaments than any knight since Johannes the Horse more than 400 years ago, Olgier is recorded as having won 57 tourneys. He was also quite fearsome in battle having killed or captured numerous knights in battle. He was finally killed during a border skirmish between Grozney and the Silver River baronies by the then unknown Ralph of Taresburg. Olgier was supposedly 6 ½ feet high and could lift a donkey above his head, he had long curly black hair and a long mustache

Caladril the Fair a servant of Dorg the Dragonsbane, who came to the Isle with Delrith to help exterminate the evil dragons, he and his band of dragon slayers were a scourge to evil dragon kind. He was famous for his fearlessness and for his way with the ladies his blond fair and fair face as well as his skill on a harp are said to have charmed hundreds of well born women into his bed.

Dunstan of --- the most famous paladin of Cuthbert (or any servant of Cuthbert) in the history of the Isle. Almost 600 years ago he helped to drive out the demon hordes of Demigorgon. The last battle happened in what is now western Grozney, to this day Cuthbert is honored there more than any other place in the isle.

Dunstan was apparently an unassuming man of about 5’6” and broad shoulders. While his brown hair and eyes and slightly rounded face rarely wowed people at frst sight many are the storiy’s of Dunstans force of will, men literally followed him into the abyss to fight the demons on their own ground. His Sword was called Heavens Will.

Ellard the Black – contrary to his name Ellard was a good man, a Paladin and member of the Black Order, like all members of his order his skin grew fair and this hair and eyes black as sin. His sword Vladislav is said to be the only thing of his which did not turn black, its glimmering blade was bearing a stark contrast to his flat black equipment. Abalard Borori, The Unbroken one, The last king of Tamosia, he met Delrith in several battles , making a final stand at the Battle of the Ford, where, surrounded by enemies he cut his way out and escaped with his personal retinue. After his battle rage passed he died, vowing to never surrender. His eldest son, Alberic, surrendered the kingdom, but his second son, Gunner, took his fathers shield with a small group of followers and retreated into the mourning marsh, vowing that his house might fall, but would never break. Ralph of Taresburg – A fighter of great renown he was unknown before slaying Sir Olgier the Mighty in single combat. His favored weapon was the Gruisarme, and he showed that even a great knight could be defeated if he couldn’t keep off his back.. His technique became quite the fashion for common men who wished to become warriors, In Grozney many a commoner wields a polearm. His green eyes, red hair and freckled face can still be seen on many people in the towns Ralph lived in, and even passed through, for his loyalty was to Grozney was unquestioned, but his loyalty to women was not so strong. In return for long service his one was raised to the rank of knight and his line still sits in service to the Duke himself. His family crest is a gruisarme on scarlet field with a bar dexter dividing it, on the lower half is emblazoned with the family motto “All can fall”.

Sym the Grand--- a High elven wizard of great renown, he is said to have made the hordes of the Vari’ shan orcs tremble with fear and to have laid waste to a hundred of their ships, He was slain in battle with a not one but two Brown dragons who ambushed his camp after the battle of Cretten creek. He slew one of the dragons, but could not bring the other down fast enough. His men however were able to repel the orcish attack that followed and saved a horde of retreating refugees from slaughter.. In Fianna, Toliary and Tosamia Sym’s Day is a feast celebrated every year on the day of his death. The Red Rascal and his boys—The Red Rascal has no other name, but was one of the most successful brigands in the memory of the people of the Isle. Many sages wonder if he was even one man or several over a period of years, regardless he became something of a folk hero because he only stole from those “ who could afford it”, of course he decided who could afford it, and city folk will tell you that many merchants became bankrupts because of his activities. While he did not “rob from the rich and give to the poor” he did rob from the rich and treat the poor with some generosity. If for example he and his men took over a peasant’s home for the night, they treated the men and women with respect and paid for what they took, usually 2 or 3 times what it was valued at. He moved from Duchy to Duchy and even struck the Grey Elves on occasion. There are numerous folk tales about his adventures with his boys. Depending to the story teller the Red Rascal may be the romantic rogue defending the poor from the forces of oppression, cruel nobles and uncaring clerics, or may be a vicious monster raping and pillaging through the countryside with only booty in mind. The stories of his death by Laruath (shining lance) the Warden of Fianna are many, and are told as tragedies as often as they are heroic tales. Laruath Warden of Fianna --- a Grey Elvin knight of fame, he crossed over the channel with Delrith and was chief of his cavalry, after the Conquest he refuse title and because the Warden of the kingdom. He was left in command of the defense of the island during the Great War, and second in charge of the island a whole. When the invasion happened he personally lead the defending forces. He won many victory’s and slew many monsters, and personally defeated the Red Rascal. He had begun the reconquest of the center of the island when Lothar the Undying came raiding through Fianna, and he sacrificed himself to imprison Lothar. Unlike many legendary figures, there are pictures of Laruath, he had long silver hair and bright purple eyes, he was the perfect knight, polite to everyone, deferent to his superiors, generous to his inferiors, just, honorable and brave. He is the role model for every Grey Elf boy, and many human and dwarven children as well.

Lothar the Undying—Lothar was the greatest brigand of the Isle and unlikethe Red Rascal there was no folk hero in him. He did indeed rape and pillage through out the land, and was more likely to strike at a lonely farm as a rich wagon train. Wagon trains usually have guards, farms do not, but farmers do have daughters and wives. He was a known slaver, selling captives to slavers from the mainland. He would often burn and massacre entire villages; he would however always leave at least one alive. He seemed to have had a strange respect for courageous children and, if they stood up to him, or tried to fight him would often leave them alive, sometimes beaten sometimes not. In one case a young boy tried to defend his older sister and actually killed the raider raping her. Lothar subdued him and attempted to frighten him, the boy unafraid looked him in the eye and told Lothar that he better kill him. Lothar was so impressed he let the boy and his sister live, but of course he raised the town and sold all the surviving women and children, save the boy and his sister, into slavery.

Lothar earned his name because he indeed seemed impossible to kill, no matter what happened to him he always seemed to comeback. Dozens of knights, adventurers and soldiers died fighting him, and on at least 6 occasions they confirmed his death, but they could ever recover his body and eventually he would return.

Finally, Laruath Warden of Fianna, rode out with a group of warriors to stop him, after a great battle Laruath realized that Lothar indeed did not die, so he beat him back into a cave and collapsed the entrance on top of them. The area was hidden by his men, and neither has ever been seen since.
