1. Introduction

Here are the latest results!

The deadline for issue 6 is Friday November 16, at 21:30 CET.

Next issue, you send orders for: * match days 9 and 10 in the league (see section 12) * the third round of the Rosedale Knockout (see section 13)

This round, the home advantage remains 7 VP. The home team is listed first in the league schedule.

In addition, as always, you send coaching. Optionally, you can also discover talents and buy/sell players.

I will send out the teams your soon.

Jed Stone, Frillby United: «From Sports Section:- LONGDALE COURIER – Skelsthorp Once again Fillby United are caught up in a refereeing blunder. This time it was the match against prixy that sparked the trouble. When our reporter caught up with Tom Culpepper, chairman of Frillby United, he had an awful lot to say….. ‘First match against ‘Nick Naks’ (Insomniacz S-pulse Ed) lads were great. Held ‘em to a draw. Don’t think they deserved it but they did job. Ref’in were spot on. Could not fault ‘im! Second match aga’n ‘Pixies’ (prixy Ed) with that dinosaur Bob Hathwaite in charge were a travesty!! Them pixies were like a Sunday Morn’in Rugger squad. All boots teeth an’ elbows. They were lucky to get only three booked. Any other ref an’ we’d have ‘ad at least one penalty. I means when Duda tripped Frisbee and sat on his head to stop ‘im getting to ball it were a clear penalty! Linesman thought so. He were going bananas, waving ‘is flag and leapin up an’ down like a nutter. Crowd were going ballistic an’ Haithwaite, he just waves play on as if nowt ‘ad appened!! Unbelievable! If polic hadn’t escorted Haithwaite off ground he’d have been lynched!! Hey! They didn’t arrest ‘im for bad refin did they? No!! Shame! »

Penalties: 2 ***- Booked: --- ***Pantaleao FC Asskickers were somewhat better in terms of normal play, but needed two penalties to actually win this game. Fantasy Finale - Ubermenschen 3 : 1 Scorers: Renarin (3., 23., 55.) ***Schopenhauer (85.) Booked: Dalinar, Dox ***Mann After an impressive performance from Renarin, Fantasy Finale become the first team to defeat Ubermenschen this season.

Chicken Run - Botanica 1 : 0 Scorers: Arya (30.) ***--- A slight upper hand in play from the home team was successfully turned into a one goal win.

Fjortoft's Friends - Feyenoord 0 : 4 Scorers: --- ***Wim Rijsbergen (6., 54., 90.), Gerard van de Korput (38.) Although the visitors were clearly the stronger team here, the home team was a lot closer than the scoreline indicates. That's seven out of seven undefeated for Feyenoord this season.

St. Helens - Currents of Space 0 : 0 Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- (1 missed) Booked: forthisseason, notagainstformula1 ***Comporellon Both teams had chances to score, and both teams had a penalty, but neither club could convert anything, so it's one point for each team.

Erkrath Gladiators - Serial Killers 0 : 0 Booked: Erwin ***--- A pretty slow game with one point for each team.

Desassossego Blues - Erkrath Gladiators 0 : 1 Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Pantaleao, Pero Botelho ***--- Wow! The Blues dominated this game throughout, but the penalty - which was Erkrath Gladiators' only shot on goal - was converted for a very lucky away win.

Serial Killers - St. Helens 0 : 0 Booked: --- ***notagainstformula1 St. Helens were somewhat stronger here, but couldn't score and thus only get one point.

Currents of Space - Fjortoft's Friends 6 : 1 Scorers: Saxtorph (21., 74.), Teela Brown (62.), Comporellon (70.), Keith Emerson (62.), Far Star (90.) ***Sonny (90.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: Speaker-to-animals ***Alex, Sonny A solid win from Currents of Space.

Feyenoord - Chicken Run 2 : 0 Scorers: Bertus Bul (57.), Wim Rijsbergen (69.) ***--- Despite the away team actually being slightly stronger, Feyenoord pull off a two goal win. It's the first time Chicken Run lose away this season.

Botanica - Fantasy Finale 2 : 1 Scorers: Oxalis fontana (33.), Dahlia (25.) ***Dox (20.) Sent off: Phalaenopsis (64.) ***--- A game that could've gone either way, but despite Botanica's red card, they managed to protect their lead and get both points.

Ubermenschen - FC Asskickers 2 : 1 Scorers: Weber (67.), Brecht (7.) ***--- Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Brecht ***--- The definite top match of the round, and through solid play, Ubermenschen become the club to beat FC Asskickers' undefeated streak.

The Championship Match day 7 ======

Formula 1 Legends - Night Owls 1 : 0 Scorers: Kimi Raikkonen (77.) ***--- Formula 1 Legends are very strong at home, and this is their fourth home win out of four possible this season. Night Owls kept them in check for a long time here, though! Kremlin - WrapUp 4 : 0 Scorers: Assassination Attempt (23., 44.), Boris Badenuff (77.), Leonid Bungaloff (70.) ***--- The game was a lot closer than the scoreline indicates, but it was a pretty comfortable win for Kremlin, who remain undefeated at home.

Dirigentia con Brio - Magical World 3 : 0 Scorers: P Boulez (4.), Karl Bohm (48.), Davis (36.) ***--- Dirigentia con Brio are undefeated this season, and keep that up with a convincing home win.

Madmartigan City - Stars 0 : 0 Madmartigan City had won their three prior home games before this one, but Stars played very well and were actually stronger here.

New Generation - Lake Tanganyika 0 : 0 An even game with a deserved point for each team.

Dummys - Extreme 1 : 1 Scorers: Kip (15.) ***--- Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Jaap, Kip, Willem ***Gullit, Murinho, Zulle Extreme saved a somewhat lucky draw away against Dummys. That means 4 out of 4 away draws for Extreme, while Dummys' perfect home record is now turned into 3-1-0.

The Championship Match day 8 ======

Night Owls - Dummys 0 : 0 Booked: --- ***Teun For the fourth time in four tries, Night Owls draw at home.

Extreme - New Generation 9 : 2 Scorers: Gullit (17., 23., 45.), Vanenburg (17., 70., 71.), van Basten (5., 90.), Huistra (2.) ***Sleeve Placket (34.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***1 Booked: --- ***Fashionable A big win for Extreme and thus a nice climb up the table.

Lake Tanganyika - Madmartigan City 1 : 0 Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***3Men, Bebe Two of the teams that seem very likely to promote to the Premiership. It was the home team that had most of the play, but they needed a penalty to actually win the game.

Stars - Dirigentia con Brio 0 : 0 Another solid game from Stars, but they were unlucky not to score and thus only get one point.

Magical World - Kremlin 3 : 5 Scorers: Sam (4., 37., 59.) ***Wasilly Protzky (42.), Boris Badenuff (34.), Leonid Bungaloff (22.), Ludmilla Patina (76.), Vaccination (60.) Booked: --- ***Assassination Attempt, Leonid Bungaloff Magical World had the best start with Sam taking the lead after only four minutes. Sam kept scoring too, but unfortunately for the home team, he didn't seem to have anyone to help him, and Kremlin won by two in the end.

WrapUp - Formula 1 Legends 1 : 1 Scorers: Hurry up (43.) ***Stefan Vettel (80.) Booked: --- ***Stefan Vettel An almost exactly even game with a deserved point for each team.

Division 1 Match day 7 ======

Parsifal - Tamriel Athletic 1 : 1 Scorers: M Bloem (85.) ***Bahk gro-Lurn (88.) Parsifal played a strong match again, but this time it wasn't enough, as Tamriel Athletic got away with one of the points.

Slartibartfast FC - Twin Peaks Owls 4 : 5 Scorers: Hurling Frootmig (57., 67.), Varntvar the Priest (32., 88.) ***The Giant (2., 18., 40., 57., 67.) An exciting and entertaining game that The Giant apparently had decided that Twin Peaks Owls were going to win.

ENPS - Valiant City 1 : 0 Scorers: Bert Wijchgel (84.) ***--- For a long time, this looked like a goalless draw, but Bert Wijchgel managed to sneak in a winning goal six minutes before the end.

Ergodic Theorems - Oaks 0 : 0 Ergodic Theorems were undefeated at home and Oaks undefeated both home and away, and neither record fell here.

The Scientists - Queen 5 : 0 Scorers: Watt (44., 57.), Watson (19., 33.), Sanger (43.) ***--- Booked: Ehrlichc ***--- A solid win from The Scientists.

Make or Break - Love Songs 0 : 0 Booked: --- ***Someday Make or Break had the upper hand in this game, but Love Songs managed to save one point.

Division 1 Match day 8 ======

Tamriel Athletic - Make or Break 3 : 0 Scorers: Nash gro-Shug (32., 76.), Torolf (9.) ***--- A solid victory for Tamriel Athletic, although Make or Break deserved a consolidation goal.

Love Songs - The Scientists 1 : 0 Scorers: Killing me softly (72.) ***--- Booked: Mad World ***--- An even game where Killing me softly secured a one goal win for the home team.

Queen - Ergodic Theorems 1 : 0 Scorers: Great King Rat (18.) ***--- An early leading goal from Great King Rat, and after that, nothing happened.

Oaks - ENPS 3 : 0 Scorers: Godiva (1.), Kazzia (17.), Ramruma (63.) ***--- Oaks remain on track for promotion with three more points this weekend.

Valiant City - Slartibartfast FC 0 : 3 Scorers: --- ***Varntvar the Priest (38.), Grunthos the Flatulent (27.), Fook (84.) Booked: Conny Coachable, Sally Savestopper ***--- Although Valiant City had a solid upper hand in this game, Slartibartfast FC scored all (!) the goals, thus ending Valiant City's undefeated streak at home.

Twin Peaks Owls - Parsifal 4 : 0 Scorers: Chester Desmond (19., 34., 51.), Madeleine Ferguson (64.) ***--- Four straight home wins for Twin Peaks Owls, and they are now on top of the table.

Division 2 Match day 7 ======

Lunar Sea - Cosmopolitan 1 : 2 Scorers: Sycorax (48.) ***Pastry (64.), Wax (15.) A slight upper hand for the home team in this definite top match, but Cosmopolitan were more efficient in front of goal and claimed the win.

Car Park Rangers - Sjokoladen BK 1 : 0 Scorers: Emma Frost (1.) ***--- Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) Booked: Iceman ***--- An even game, but Emma Frost made sure which team had to be chasing all match with her goal in the very first minute, and that lead held all the way.

Thinkers FC - Suginami Bad Boys 7 : 0 Scorers: Bertrand Russell (13., 15., 28.), Jean Paul Sartre (26., 45.), Banach-Tarski (50.), Albert Camus (53.) ***--- Wow, that's an impressive win against one of the top teams!

Jirs Nightmare County - Springfield United 3 : 1 Scorers: Biloron (82.), Daloron (26.), Diloron (32.) ***Bart (76.) Sent off: --- ***Martin Prince (25.) The match was fairly slow until Martin Prince was sent off. From then on and out, there were more play, and Jirs Nightmare County managed to get three goals and both points.

Frock Frogs - Stadium Dreams 2 : 0 Scorers: Rumpetroll (31.), Kermit (16.) ***--- Table toppers Frock Frogs storm ahead with their fourth straight home win.

Jirs Park Rangers - Gamblers United 1 : 1 Scorers: Ydloron (65.) ***--- Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Ybloron, Ycloron, Ygloron, Ymloron ***Rudy Runquick, Windy Widerunner Jirs Park Rangers had pretty good control of this game, but Gamblers United saved a point on a penalty.

Division 2 Match day 8 ======

Cosmopolitan - Jirs Park Rangers 1 : 0 Scorers: Pastry (17.) ***--- A solid game from Cosmopolitan results in their fourth straight home win, but Jirs Park Rangers could've snatched one point here.

Gamblers United - Frock Frogs 0 : 3 Scorers: --- ***The Scotsman (44., 47.), Henriette (84.) With a solid away win, Frock Frogs distance some of the closest competition. Promotion is seeming more and more certain already.

Stadium Dreams - Jirs Nightmare County 3 : 5 Scorers: Selhurst Park (52., 74.), Liberty Stadium (29.) ***Cyloron (4., 45., 85.), Daloron (62., 81.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: City of Manchester ***Ecloron Jirs Nightmare County took the lead already after 4 minutes, but the home team equalised. This happened three times, but at the end, the visitors scored twice and claimed the win.

Springfield United - Thinkers FC 3 : 3 Scorers: Bart (5., 59.), Reverend Lovejoy (44.) ***Arthur Schopenhauer (80.), Bertrand Russell (2.), Banach-Tarski (51.) The home team had the upper hand here, but Thinkers FC saved one point.

Suginami Bad Boys - Car Park Rangers 1 : 1 Scorers: Masayuki Kawahara (81.) ***Magneto (28.) Booked: --- ***Fantastic Four Car Park Rangers took the lead in the first half, but Suginami Bad Boys had most of the play and managed to fight back and claim one point.

Sjokoladen BK - Lunar Sea 3 : 0 Scorers: Butterfinger (5., 75.), Japp (78.) ***--- The game was more even than the scoreline indicates, but Sjokoladen were the better team.

Song of Ice and Fire - Frillby United 1 : 1 Scorers: Ned Stark (44.) ***Chris Hamgate (14.) Frillby didn't seem to have a lot of hope for this match, but they saved one point nonetheless.

Insomniacz S-Pulse - Yamagata Old Boys 5 : 1 Scorers: Pato (46., 84.), Alessandro Nesta (80.), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (18.), Robinho (25.) ***Fran Chaize (13.) Booked: --- ***Doug Deep Yamagata Old Boys took an early lead, but from there on and out, it was all about Insomniacz.

Yorkies - the Professors of Jazz 1 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Charlie Parker (67.), Johnny Hodges (84.) Penalties: 1 ***- Yorkies looked to have a shot at points here from a converted penalty, but Professors of Jazz managed to turn it around and win by one. Sheffield Thursday - Duckburg City 13 : 0 Scorers: Gary Madine (8 goal$s), John Bostock (4., 38.), Clinton Morrison (8., 35.), Liam Palmer (7.) ***--- A solid win for Sheffield Thursday, and Gary Madine put in a serious application for top scorer of the division.

Foxwood City - Castaway 2 : 3 Scorers: Tony Ravenwood (34.), Scot Croker (82.) ***Buka (5., 78.), Phuket (82.) Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) Booked: Steven Montana ***--- Foxwood City had somewhat of an upper hand in play here, but Castaway managed to win it and climb into the promotion zone.

Saturday Morning FC - pirxy 4 : 0 Scorers: Postman Pat (69., 79.), Winnie the Pooh (3.), Pingu (80.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Franciszek Fasola, Krzysztof Kolasa Saturday Morning FC are really picking up speed now and definitely look headed for promotion.

Another solid game from Saturday Morning FC, but Frillby managed to escape with a lucky point from Andrew Skellon's 89th minute equaliser. pirxy - Foxwood City 2 : 1 Scorers: Henryk Hutnik (2., 33.) ***Scot Croker (48.) Booked: Grzegorz Gorka ***Peter Romez, Steve Herod, Steven Montana Henryk Hutnik secure the home win for pirxy with two goals in the first half.

Castaway - Sheffield Thursday 1 : 0 Scorers: Sherbro (59.) ***--- Almost an hour passed before anything happened, and then Sherbro secured the win for the home team.

Duckburg City - Yorkies 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Stobart (65.), Turner (58.) Yorkies managed an upper hand in this game and secured both points in the second half. the Professors of Jazz - Insomniacz S-Pulse 6 : 0 Scorers: Thelonius Monk (22., 26.), Herbie Hancock (13., 44.), Chet Baker (87.), Dizzy Gillespie (33.) ***--- Professors of Jazz pull off a solid win against top team Insomniacz.
