JACK BENNY WILL BE GUEST OF HONOR ISRAEL ANNIVERSARY DINNER HERE AT 'Dean Os ' To Speak At Dec. 10 Celebration Sponsored By Bond Campaign Jack Benny is coming to Phoenix, Benny, the dean of American comedians, will be the guest of honor at the community-wide dinner celebration of Israel's 13th “Bar Mitz- vah” year in the Thunderbird Room of the Hotel Westward Ho on Sunday evening, Dec. 10. This was announced at a celebration dinner committee meeting by Phil Taxman, general chairman of the Phoenix 1931 Israel Bond Campaign, spon- sors of the celebration dinner. “Bar Mitzvah’’ refers to the traditional Jewish ceremony for young men reaching the age of 13.
