Friends of Arts Education at the Cerritos Center Its’ for the Kids! It is our belief that when you bring the arts into the lives of children, you give them new ways to see the world.

The Friends of Arts Education is a non-profit organization that recognizes the arts as a vital and indispensable part of a comprehensive education. We strive to ensure that all children in our communities have an opportunity to experience the power and beauty of the performing arts. The arts are an integral part of cultural literacy; they encourage creativity, critical thinking and problem solving. The arts enable students to build self-esteem and self- discipline as well as teach cooperation and effective expression.
