DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES a) To act as the point of contact between the Vice Chancellor and internal/external clients b) To receive and disseminate correspondences, mails and other information for the Vice Chancellor’s office. c) To drafts appropriate correspondences and submit them to the responsible authority for action and ensure their timely dispatch. d) To arrange meetings that directly fall under the ambit of the Vice Chancellor’s office e) To arrange reservations for travels (local and international) and accommodation f) To attend to all visitors by ascertaining the nature of business g) To schedule appointments, synchronize and update the diary and screen requests for meetings. h) To attend to telephone inquiries, placing out-going and in-coming mails and handling both in-coming and out-going faxes, downloading e-mail. i) To perform any other duty which may be assigned from time to time.

KEY OUTPUTS a) Clients attended to and directed to appropriate offices. b) Vice Chancellor’s Dairy kept up-to-date. c) Office equipment requisitioned and managed.
