This FAQ contains: • This service provides Windows PC users the GC the ability to recover accidentally deleted files and recently missing files. • Allows users the ability to corrupted files on S:\ drive with earlier versions • Stores one previous version of a file per day and up to 64 previous versions in total (as server disk space permits) • This service does not count toward S:\ drive quota • Available on PCs at the GC

1. Go to your desktop and double-click the Computer icon (Fig. 1) (or click the button and select Computer).

2. Right-click on the S:/ drive (Fig. 2), whichever contains the folders/files you wish to restore.

3. After right-click, click on properties and then the Previous Versions tab.

4. Scroll through the list of earlier versions, and then double-click on a version to view its contents (or select it and click Open). a. Note: Files that have not been modified since its creation date will not have previous versions available. Previous versions of folders are created regardless of whether their contents have been modified. 5. To Restore a Folder or File: Open Computer and S drive (whichever the file or folder exists) to open a new window. Once the desired folder or file is found from the first window (Previous Versions), you may right-click to , and paste it in the current location of the S drive. 6. You might see the confirmation window appear (Fig. 4), if so just click on Copy and Replace.
