SCIENCE REVEALS SONGS OF THE DINOSAURS ON IMAGINE THAT!

(Imagine That! Homer - airs Sunday, May 14, at 9 p.m. on KUFM/KGPR and Monday, May 15, at 7:33 a.m. on KEMC and at 6:28 p.m. on KGLT.)

MISSOULA - Jack Homer, curator of paleontology at the Museum of the Rockies at -Bozeman, uses a contemporary medical tool to get into the heads of dinosaurs. The international expert discusses what technology has revealed about the songs of the dinosaurs on the next episode of Imagine That!, airing Sunday, May 14, on KUFM/KGPR, immediately following the St. Louis Symphony. "The fun part (of this research) is seeing how far we can go with the tools that we have right now to answer some of these questions," Homer says. "Were dinosaurs warm blooded? Did they care for their young? I let the bones come up with the questions." Homer, who lent his expertise in the production of "Jurassic Park," discusses what CAT scanners and bones have told him about music. Imagine That! is produced as a joint venture between The University of Montana-Missoula and Montana State University-Bozeman. The program also airs Monday, May 15, at 7:33 a.m. on KEMC and at 6:28 p.m. on KGLT.
