6.30 p.m.–10 p.m. Open Chamber 4 The Speaker Andreas Norlén will open the main doors to the Chamber, the heart of the Riksdag, which are otherwise closed to visitors. You are very welcome to come and talk to staff and MPs working in the Chamber.

6 p.m.–9 p.m. Meet the committees 8 Put your questions to members of the Riksdag and staff from the parliamen- tary committees and the Committee on EU Affairs. 6 p.m.–11.30 p.m. Meet five women pioneers The first five women in the Swedish Parliament of 1922 are “live” in the East Wing of the Riksdag and will talk about their experiences and the challenges they faced.

Democracy in culture The Riksdag Library is open to everyone. Feel free to come along and take in our modern and historic parliament in words and images. The overall theme on Culture Night will be culture and democracy. Five exciting seminars and an opportunity to meet members of the Riksdag are special highlights this evening.

6 p.m.–midnight Quill pens and manuscripts See the parliamentary record from the 17th century onwards - in handwrit- ten, printed and digital format. Try out what it is like to write with a real quill pen. 6 p.m.–midnight Political cartoons and caricatures Come and have a look around our exhibition of political satirical drawings. 6 p.m.–midnight Ewert Karlsson exhibition A selection of the famous caricaturist Ewert Karlsson’s political drawings will be shown separately. 6 p.m.–midnight The issue desk is open Take this opportunity to get a library card, browse the shelves and take a look at our printed and digital material.
