Four species are new to the Danish fauna: Glyphipterix schoenicolella Boyd, 1858 (Glyphipterigidae), found in great numbers in one ofthe very few Danish localities with growth of Schoenus nigricans. Eratophyes amasiella (Herrich-Schiiffer, 1854) (Oecophoridae) found at the most northern point of Denmark Hitherta it has strangely enough only been observed in Turkey, Holland and Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany). Scrobipalpa ocellatella (Boyd, 1858) (Gelechiidae), two specimens came to light at Skallingen in the south-western part of Jutland. The locality is situated in the south-eastern part of the country. So far this species was known only from a type locality in the south-western part of Ukraine. New regional records are also given for eleven other scythridid moths: S. braschiella (O. HOFMANN), S. cicadella (ZELLER), S. clavella (ZELLER), S. knochella (FABRICIUS), S. laminella (DENIS & SCHIFFERMULLER), S. limbella (FABRICIUS), S. palustris (ZELLER), S. scopolella (LINNAEUS), S. seliniella (ZELLER) , S. siccella (ZELLER) and S. sinensis (FELDER & ROGENHOFER 1875). Remarks on their distribution and habitat preferences are also presented. KEY WORDS: Lepidoptera, Scythrididae, faunistics, new records, Poland. The family Scythrididae is represented in Europe by 202 species belonging to six genera, of which the genus Scythris HÜBNER 1825 is the most numerous (BENGTSSON 2011). This work contains faunistic data on the occurrence of 677 butterfly and moth species found during 2000-2008 in north-eastern Poland (Podlasie Province). The species Monopis fenestratella (HEYDEN, 1863), Amphisbatis elsae SVENSSON, 1982, Coleophora ptarmicia WALSINGHAM, 1910 and Epermenia falciformis (HAWORTH, 1828) were found in Poland for the first time. Recent data are provided for five other species – Monochroa servella (ZELLER, 1839), Teleiodes aenigma SATTLER, 1983, Dichomeris limosella (SCHLÄGER, 1849), Aethes rutilana (HÜBNER, 1817) and Eana derivana (LA HARPE, 1858) – known in Poland only from historical data. The occurrence in Podlasie of 75 species is reported for the first time, and the occurrence of 6 other species is confirmed for this area after more than 50 years. This work also describes a new species, Monopis bisonella ŠUMPICH, sp. n. A number of species are very rare in Poland and occur only locally. -

Checklist of Lithuanian Diptera
58 BULLETIN OF THE LITHUANIAN ENTOMOLOGICAL SOCIETY. Volume 1 (29) DATA ON 2 NEW AND 113 RARE FOR THE LITHUANIAN FAUNA MOTH (LEPIDOPTERA) SPECIES BRIGITA PAULAVIČIŪTĖ, VITALIJUS BAČIANSKAS, VYTAUTAS INOKAITIS Kaunas T. Ivanauskas Zoological Museum, Laisvės al. 106, LT-44253, Kaunas, Lithuania. E-mail of corresponding author: [email protected] Introduction Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths) are one of the most diverse and species-rich groups of organisms. Currently, the number of described species is close to 160000, but it is estimated that the true number of species could be as high as half a million (van Nieukerken et al., 2011). The Lepidoptera in Lithuania are not comprehensively investigated. The last catalogue of Lithuanian Lepidoptera includes 2423 species (Aarvik et al., 2017). This article presents data on 2 new (Digitivalva reticulella and Caryocolum proxima) and 113 rare for the Lithuanian fauna species of moths (Lepidoptera) registered in 23 administrative districts and municipalities of Lithuania. Material and Methods The material was collected by the authors of this report Brigita Paulavičiūtė (B.P.), Vitalijus Bačianskas (V.B.) and Vytautas Inokaitis (V.I.). The rest of the species were collected by S. Claaszen (S.C.), Romas Ferenca (R.F.), Vytautas Tamutis (V.T.) and Vytautas Uselis (V.U). Moths were collected using an entomological net and light trapping at night (160W– 500W DRL type bulb lamps were used) in different parts of Lithuania. The geographical coordinates were measured using Garmin eTrex GPS receiver. Species were identified using the following sources: Hannemann (1964), Traugott- Olsen & Nielsen, (1977), Zaguliaev et al. (1978), Danilevskij et al. -
