Software Engineer experienced in game development in Unity 3D and C# as well as Unreal Engine 4 and C++. Also experienced in the design, analysis and implementation of Web applications in Java and PHP. Studied Computer Engineering, specialization in Computer Graphics and Image Processing. I consider myself a self-starter and hard worker who loves problem solving and is always paying attention to detail.

Work Experience

April 2016 – Present Software Engineer – Another Place Productions Working on new and existing features for Battlehand both client and server side. Some features of notice are the Guild Wars and Daily Bonus & Missions. Client side, the technologies used are Unity 3D and C#. Server side, the web app is written in Java using the Play Framework and Redis as the Memcache. Battlehand is currently released for Android, iOS and WebGL.

June 2015 – April 2016 Gameplay Programmer – Worked on different gameplay features for , mainly GUI elements such as inventories, cursors, customisations, etc., developed using the Unreal Engine and C++. I was also involved in writing integration tests and polishing existing gameplay features. The game was being developed for One and platforms until the project was cancelled and the studio closed.

November 2012 – May 2015 Advanced Engineer – Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Started as Web Application Engineer and promoted to Advanced Engineer in July 2014. Involved on the architecture and implementation of new features for the Sony Computer Entertainment Developer Network. OO design and development using PHP and JavaScript. RESTful APIs. SCRUM development methodologies: BDD, TDD, pair programming, etc. As part of the innovation time allocated by the department, I worked on developing new projects in C++ for PS4. I also helped testing new games and peripherals before their release.

January 2012 – November 2012 Junior Developer – OpenBet Ltd. I was involved in the development of new projects in Java and Spring, writing integration and unit tests. Also helped testing the integration of new games with the systems developed by the team.

December 2010 – December 2011 Analyst, Programmer and Web Designer – Delacroy Innoware S.L. Analysis, design and implementation of a web platform using Java, Hibernate, Struts2 and JavaScript. During my time in Delacroy Innoware I also collaborated in the implementation of some Android applications.

April 2010 – January 2011 Research Assistant – Jaén University Research assistant in the research project 'Application of cooperative game theory in the analysis of the molecular basis of neurological diseases'. My main responsibilities in the project were the analysis, design and implementation of a web platform for the analysis of gene expression data using Cooperative Game Theory in AJAX, PHP and R.

April 2009 – February 2010 Research Assistant – Jaén University Research assistant in the research project VISTA (Visual Implants Simulation for Therapy Advance). I investigated and experimented with Eye-tracking methods in C++ and Matlab. Recent Projects

Present Personal project: 2.5 D infinite runner Currently involved on the design and prototyping of a personal project with an artist- animator. The game is a 2.5 D infinite runner for smartphones. It's based in London and the objective of the protagonist is to get to work in time, avoiding all types of obstacles on his way to the train. The game is being developed in Unity3D and C#. My main responsibilities are the design and implementation of all the different game elements: gameplay, GUI, AI, etc.

August 2014 – June 2015 Unreleased science fiction First Person Shooter - The Third Moon Project developed by 6 people including artists and programmers in Unreal Engine 4 and C++. I joined the team as the main programmer at the beginning of the project when we were only 2 people. I was involved in all aspects of the programming of the game including gameplay, AI, animation blueprint, etc. using both blueprints and C++. Interests

I love making and playing video games. My favourite games are the Final Fantasy saga, The Last of Us, Plants vs. Zombies, God of War, Rayman, DDR, Obscure, Beyond Two Souls, the Batman Arkham saga, etc. I also enjoy listening to music and playing the guitar, as well as drawing and painting.
