Business Description Microsoft is engaged in developing, manufacturing, licensing, and supporting a range of software products and services for several computing devices. Co.'s software products and services include operating systems for personal computers, servers, and intelligent devices; server applications for distributed computing environments; information worker productivity applications; business and computing applications; software development tools; and video games. Co. also provides consulting and product and application support services, as well as trains and certifies computer system integrators and developers. In addition, Co. designs and sells hardware including the 360 gaming and entertainment console and accessories, the digital music and entertainment device and accessories, and Microsoft personal computer (PC) hardware products. Co. operates through five segments.

Summary Biography Reed Hastings, has been a Director of Microsoft Corporation since March 26, 2007. Mr. Hastings founded Netflix, Inc. in 1997, and has served as Chairman of Netflix from its inception. Mr. Hastings became Chief Executive Officer of Netflix in September 1998. Line of Credit: In Nov. 2009, Co. replaced its $2,000,000,000 and $1,000,000,000 credit facilities with a $2,250,000,000 364-day credit facility, which expires on Nov. 5, 2010. This facility serves as a back-up for Co.'s commercial paper program. In June 2010, Co. reduced the size of its credit facility from $2,250,000,000 to $1,000,000,000 due to the reduction in commercial paper outstanding. As of June 30, 2010, Co. was in compliance with the financial in the credit facility agreement, which requires a coverage ratio be maintained of at least three times earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to interest expense.
