NOTE BY THE SECRETARY-GENERAL — In accordance with Article 21 of the Convention of 13 July 1931 for Limiting the Manufacture and Regulating the Distribution of Narcotic Drags, as amended by the Protocol of 11 December 1946, the Secretary-General has the honour to communicate the following legislative text.

Legal Notice No.478 The Dangerous Drugs Ordinance (Cap.129)
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, the Minister for Local Government, Health and Town Planning, hereby makes the following Order:
THE DANGEROUS DRUGS (APPLICATION) ORDER, 1958
1. This Order may be cited as the Dangerous Drugs (Application) Order, 1958.
2. The provisions of Fart V of the Ordinance shall apply to the drugs specified in the Schedule hereto in the same manner as they apply to the drugs mentioned in sub-section (l) of section 14 of the Ordinance*

2. Alphaprodine, its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance contain• ing any proportion of alphaprodine»
3. Betameprodine. its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance containing any proportion of betameprodine.

5. 1:3-Diaethyl-4-ph«nyl—4—proprionyloxyhexamethyleneiuine /I,3-dimethyl-4-phenyl-4-propion- oxyhexamethyleneimine or proheptazine _J^its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance containing any proportion of 1:3-dimethyl—4-phenyl—4—propionyloxy- hexamethyleneimine•
6. Dimethylthiambutene, its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance containing any proportion of dimethylthiambntene»
7. Dioxaphetyl butyrate (4-morpholino-2:2-diphenyl ethyl butyrate) /ethyl-4-morpholino-2, 2-diphenylbutyrate J its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance containing any proportion of dioxaphetyl butyrate (4-morpholino-2:2-diphenyl -ethyl butyrate).
8. Dipipanone, its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance contain• ing any proportion of dipipanone.
9. Ethylmethylthiambutene, its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other sub• stance containing any proportion of ethylmethylthiambutene.
10. Lovorphanol, its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance contain• ing any proportion of levorphanol.
11. Uethyldesomorphine ^ethyldesorphing7 (6-methyl- -desoxymorphine), its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance containing any proportion of methyl- desomorphine (6-methyl- "-desoxymorphine).
12. l-Methyl-4-phenylpiperidine-4-carboxylic acid isopropyl ester, /5roperidine7 its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance containing any proportion of 1- methyl-4-phenylpiperidine-4-carboxylic acid isopropyl ester.
13. Normethadone. its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance con• taining any proportion of normethadone.
14. Phenomorphan (3-hydroxy-N-phenethylmorphinan), its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance containing any proportion of phenomorphan (3-hydroxy-N-phen• ethylmorphinan ).
15. Propoxyphene (4-dimethylamino-l:2-diphenyl-3-methyl-2-propionyloxybutane) /4^-dimethyl- amino-3-methyl-l,2-diphenyl-2-propionoxybutane_Jits salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance containing any proportion of propoxyphene (4—dimethylamino—1:2- diphenyl-3-methyl-2-propionyloxybutane).
16. Racemorphan, its salts and any preparation, admixture, extract or other substance contain• ing any proportion of racemorphan.
