WHO CAN ENTER? If you are 18 or older, live in Queens, are a U.S. citizen or a legal resident of the United States and want to start a new business in Queens, you are eligible. StartUP! is a competition to help applicants start a business. WHAT IS THE PRIZE? Three winners will receive $10,000 each in seed funding (in the categories of food, innovation and community-based), for developing a business plan and launching their business in Queens. HOW DO I ENTER? All participants must sign up online at www.queensny.org/qedc/business/programs/startup and abide by the rules and requirements lisited there. Participants must attend four training sessions and upload all necessary documents online. WHERE CAN I ATTEND TRAINING SESSIONS? All live training sessions are free and will be held at Queens Library at Flushing, 41-17 Main Street. Recorded training sessions will be available for a convenience fee of $25 per session at www.queensny.org/qedc/business/programs/startup. WHEN ARE TRAINING SESSIONS BEING HELD?
