THE CORRECT DANCE SHOES, DANCEWEAR, HAIRSTYLE AND A UNIFORM LOOK ARE IMPORTANT FOR THE STUDY OF DANCE.

Hair: Loose hanging hair interferes with dance moves and is a distraction to the student while dancing. Students with long hair must have their hair properly pulled up and back.

Leotard, Tights, Shirts and Sweaters: Solid color leotards and Capezio white tights for girls. Only ballet wrap sweaters or ADC T-shirts may be worn in class. See below for your specific dance and shoe requirements for your class.

GIRLS Leotard: Any solid color leotard. Separate skirts or attached skirts are allowed. No netted tutu or fringe.

BOYS Shirt: White form fitting short sleeved or tank T-shirt tucked in pants. Hanes or Fruit of the Loom T-shirts are recommended.
