CLASS ACT A CENTER FOR CODE

DANCERS ARE EXPECTED TO LOOK LIKE DANCERS! Presentation should be neat and clean when entering the studio. No visible markings on hands or body, no piercings, jewelry or street . Hair MUST be pulled back and away from face at all times, in all classes. BUNS FOR ! are important to keep dancers muscles warm. If a student is not in proper attire they may not be permitted to take class!

Creative Movement and Intro to dance Ages 6 and UNDER Leotard and tights are always expected but may be the color of your choice. Ballet and tutus are also permitted at this age. (All tights and leotards available at The Dance Store) -WHITE Revolution ballet . (Sold at the studio) -WHITE Revolution buckled tap shoes (sold at the studio) - INTRO JAZZ – Black leotard or sports any color tights, any color jazz , tan Revolution jazz (Sold at studio)

Ballet Level 1 and UP Black leotard and pink tights. Ballet optional, leg warmers optional. NO SHORTS UNDER SKIRTS. NO TANK TOPS. NO PANTS OR BAGGY EXCEPT TO WARM UP!! (all tights and leotards available at The Dance Store) -Level 1- Pink; split sole, leather Revolution ballet slippers. (The Dance Store) -Level 2-5- Revolution cross strap leather -Pointe shoes (if discussed by teacher)

Jazz/ Lyrical Intro, Levels 1-5 Black, pink or suntan tights. NO CUT OFF TIGHTS FOR DANCERS UP TO AGE 11. Any black leotard, black type or black tank and black dance pants or shorts are permitted but not required. No colored tops or leotards, Colored dance shorts are only permitted in Jazz, Hip Hop and Acro classes! Otherwise black only. -Tan Revolution jazz shoe (The Dance Store) -“ADAGE” or Revolution Half sole lyrical shoe in tan- Lyrical

Hip Hop: Same apparel as Jazz. Sweats or looser fitted dance pants may be added in black. -Black and white “Converse” . NO OTHER COLOR SHOULD BE VISIBLE ON THE SHOE!

Tap: Apparel same as Hip Hop. Level 1, Level 2- Revolution Black Buckled Tap (The Dance Store) Intermediate, Advanced- Revolution Black Split Sole Tap tie, oxford (The Dance Store)

ACRO/STRETCH CLASS: All levels Apparel same as JAZZ, NO LOSE FITTED CLOTHES. TIGHTS ARE NOT REQUIRED but convertible, footless or stirrup tights need to be worn if you do wear tights. (Tights should be worn especially during cold months) FOOT UNDIES OPTIONAL. Tan is usually used in our year end recital; however any color is ok for class.

BOYS- Any tight fitted dancewear or sweats in BLACK. Hip Hop: Black converse sneaker (same as girls requirement) Jazz: Boys Tie or pull on jazz shoe in BLACK Tap: tap shoe Ballet: Black ballet shoe in leather or canvas ALL AVAILABLE IN THE DANCE STORE EXCEPT SNEAKER ***SHOES PURCHASED FOR A PREVIOUS YEAR RECITAL ARE FINE TO WEAR FOR THE START OF CLASSES IF STILL FIT. KEEP IN MIND SPECIFIC SHOES MAY CHANGE WHEN ARE DECIDED***
