The tryons are being held earlier again this year so that leotards are available from 23rd July, rather than in mid-August.
NOTE: The Danz Design store will be open during the ordering period from Tuesday 3 April.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All leotards must be paid for when ordering. This includes team leotards. Payment can be made by cash, club cheque (no personal cheques), eftpos, mastercard or visa. When ordering you must indicate the contrast colours, if applicable, otherwise the main colour will be used for contrasts. When ordering you must indicate the sleeve length, if applicable, otherwise no sleeves will be supplied. When ordering individual leotards members are now required to provide their girth measurement (refer to measurement chart and sizing guidelines section for information on sizing). There are no refunds so please order carefully. No returns will be accepted for incorrect size choice. Leotards may be purchased from the stock at the Danz Design store during the try-on period and throughout the remainder of the year. Phone requests for leotards from shop stock must include postage and handling charges - price available on request. Try-on boxes available to all clubs. See information on page 6.
BJP RULES FOR CHAMPION GIRL/LADY LEOTARDS
1. All girls and ladies must wear BjP leotards of their choice in competitions. These must be purchased through the BjP supplier (Danz Design (Aust) Pty.Ltd.) and have the BJP emblem on them. Warning to Associates & Secretaries: Copying of BjP leotards and/or the emblem infringes BjP patent and members wearing incorrect leotards risk disqualification. 2. Leotards designated as Junior styles are for girls from 5-14 years inclusive. 3. Leotards designated as Senior Styles are for 13 -15 years, Seniors and Ladies. 4. NOTE: 13-14 year girls have the option of wearing both Junior and Senior styles. 5. All age groups, Juniors, Seniors & Ladies are permitted to wear their Team leotard or Team outfit in individual competitions if they so desire.

The lining sewn into the leotards is only available in white cotton lycra. If members require lining in the same colour as the leotard they can order a body stocking.

THERE ARE NOW 3 SEPARATE MEASUREMENT CHARTS TO ASSIST WITH SIZING:
1. TEAM LEOTARD MEASUREMENT CHART 2. UNLINED COMPETITION LEOTARD MEASUREMENT CHART; AND 3. LINED COMPETITION LEOTARD MEASUREMENT CHART. These charts are set out below. They are also available on our website under "BjP Sizes" and in the tryon box booklet. Please note that our sizing chart and recommendations are a guide only and will address the majority of sizing situations. If sizing advice is required, the staff at Danz Design are more than happy to assist:
The leotards in the tryon box and in the Danz Design store should be used primarily as a guide for style choice NOT size. Due to the large number of people trying them on, they become significantly stretched.
The new ordered leotards will be a firmer fit than the tryon leotards. In addition, matt lycra is slightly firmer than shiny lycra.
The cut of the leotard also affects the fit. For example, a style with thin straps will be less restrictive than a style with more fabric around the arm and shoulder.
When a leotard is lined, the stretch is reduced by approximately 2/3 in both directions as compared to an unlined leotard
The body girth measurement is the most important measurement to determine your size, particularly with lined leotards. See below for instructions on how to take this measurement.
Size recommendation for unlined leotards: . if measurements fall comfortably within a size range then that size would be appropriate Note: allowance needs to be made if sewing in a body stocking. . if measurements fall in the top end of a size range, then we recommend going up a size

For both types of leotards, if the body girth measurement falls into a higher size range than your other measurements, ie you have a long torso, then the higher size would be recommended.
Allow for possible growth. You may want to go up a size for children who are still growing and whose measurements fall towards the end of a size range.
Remember – a leotard that is slightly too large can be adjusted, but a leotard that is too small cannot!
How to take the body girth measurement The girth measurement is taken by beginning at the centre of the right shoulder and extending the tape measure down over the bust, through the crotch and up the back to the starting point.

Please note that, in addition to trying on at the Danz Design store, there will be 8 tryon boxes, circulating throughout NSW, WA, SA, Victoria and Queensland.
There will also be 2 tryon boxes available for Sydney clubs. As in the past, the boxes will be available on a first- come first-served basis. Any club wishing to book the boxes can contact Danz Design.
