Pol., Administratio Locorum 6(3) 2007, 59-73 RECREATIONAL SPACE VALORISATION IN WESTERN POMERANIA DISTRICT Eliza Kalbarczyk, Robert Kalbarczyk Agricultural University in Szczecin Abstract. The paper has been aimed at finding agrotourism development opportunities in particular municipalities of Western Pomerania district. A Drzewiecki’s method, comprising seven criteria scale for agro tourism attractiveness for each municipality, was used to valorise recreational space in there. According to Drzewiecki a rural or urbanrural municipality can be regarded as a rural recreational space only if three, out of seven criteria, are met. In case of Western Pomerania region, municipalities happen to meet the criteria of agrotourism attractiveness mainly due to small population density (89% of municipalities), high individual agriculture rate (52% of municipalities), and last but not least, high forest to overall area rate (47% of municipalities). Specifically, 41 municipalities shall be regarded as country recreational space since they meet at least three, out of the seven concerned, criteria. Country recreational space in the Western Pomerania district amounts to 10 700 km2 (47% of the total district area), which is inhabited by 206 000 people (12% of the district population). The area does not provide a compact space, though the agrotourism oriented municipalities tend to conglomerate in Drawskie Lakeland (namely Drawsko, Łobez, and Szczecinek counties), as well as in Goleniów county. Four criteria (maximum) are met, however, only by 14 municipalities of Western Pomerania (zachodniopomorskie) District, most frequently in Drawsko, Goleniów, and Stargard Szczeciński counties. -

Its mission is to create a positive image of Poland in the world and increase the inflow of foreign direct investments by encouraging international companies to invest in Poland. PAIiIZ is a useful partner for foreign entrepreneurs entering the Polish market. The Agency guides investors through all the essential administrative and legal procedures that involve a project. It also provides rapid access to complex information relating to legal and business matters regarding investments. Moreover, it helps in finding the appropriate partners and suppliers together with new locations. PAIiIZ provides free of charge professional advisory services for investors, including: investment site selection in Poland, tailor-made investors visits to Poland, information on legal and economic environment, information on available investment incentives, facilitating contacts with central and local authorities, identification of suppliers and contractors, care of existing investors (support of reinvestments in Poland). XXIV (2011) ISSN 0137-3587 EDWARD WŁODARCZYK Szczecin THE EVOLUTION OF THE MARITIME FUNCTION OF THE 19TH CENTURY POMERANIAN PORT TOWNS The geographical situation of many a Pomeranian town centre created natu- ral conditions for conducting maritime trade. When, however, we juxtapose his- torical data on the trade exchange development and the date on the ports which function as such at present, the existing, significant differences come to us as a surprise. This is because contemporary Pomeranians do not identify mental- ly as dealing with maritime trade directly such towns as Stargard Szczeciński (Stargard in Pommern), Goleniów (Gollnow), Trzebiatów (Treptow an der Rega), Kamień Pomorski (Cammin in Pommern), or Wolin (Wollin). When seeking an answer to the question why certain towns and settlements ceased to function as maritime centres whereas others either continued in this role to a limited degree, or built up on it, a scrutiny of economic factors, no matter how decisive a role they played in the process in question, will not suffice. There was a clearly ob- servable moment in the history of Pomeranian Baltic towns when the convenient situation of a town on sea could not guarantee this town participation in maritime trade. In some, critical for maritime trade, moments, natural conditions had to be improved, water routes – deepened, new waterfronts – reinforced or built, new breakwaters – built, and ports – armed in modern transshipment infrastructure so as to preserve the position of a strong trade centre. Landesamt für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Geologie PRESSEMITTEILUNG Landesamt beauftragt Kartierung von gesetzlich geschützten Biotopen LUNG Im Land Mecklenburg-Vorpommern stehen eine Reihe von Biotopen und Geotopen, die selten oder typisch für die Landschaften sind, unter besonderem Schutz, um sie vor Güstrow, 26.04.2019 Zerstörung oder Beeinträchtigung zu bewahren. Das Nummer: 07/2019 Landesamt für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Geologie Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (LUNG) hat die Aufgabe, diese gesetzlich geschützten Biotope und Geotope landesweit zu erfassen und in einem Verzeichnis zu führen. Seit 2013 wird die zwischen 1996 bis 2011 erfolgte, erste landesweite Erfassung der nach § 20 Naturschutzausführungsgesetz (NatSchAG M-V) gesetzlich geschützten Biotope in M-V, durch Geländeerhebungen aktualisiert. Dies erfolgt durch vom LUNG M-V beauftragte, fachkundige Biotopkartierer. Das Kartiergebiet für den Zeitraum 2019-2021 wird im Mai online im Kartenportal Umwelt unter https://www.umweltkarten.mv- regierung.de/script/ (Pfad: Naturschutz/Biotope/Kartierprojekte) eingestellt. Die Kartierung beschränkt sich zunächst auf Natura 2000 Gebiete der Bereiche folgender Gemeindeämter: Amt Demmin-Land, Amt Gnoien, Amt Jarmen-Tutow, Amt Krakow am See, Amt Malchin am Kummerower See, Amt Mecklenburgische Schweiz, Amt Neverin, Amt Penzliner Land, Amt Seenlandschaft Waren, Amt Treptower Tollensewinkel, Stadtverwaltung Teterow, Hansestadt Demmin, Stadt Waren (Müritz), Stadt Neubrandenburg, Stadt Dargun. Das LUNG weist in diesem Zusammenhang darauf hin, dass Bedienstete und Beauftragte der Naturschutzbehörden nach Landesamt für Umwelt, Naturschutz und § 9 Abs. 1 NatSchAG M-V zur Wahrnehmung ihrer Aufgaben Geologie Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Grundstücke mit Ausnahme von Wohngebäuden betreten Goldberger Str. 12 dürfen und bittet darum, die Bestandserhebungen nicht zu 18273 Güstrow behindern. Satzung des Abwasserbeseitigungszweckverbandes Tollensesee (Verbandssatzung) Gemäß § 152 Abs. 2 der Kommunalverfassung für das Land Mecklenburg- Vorpommern in der Fassung der Bekanntmachung vom 13. Juli 2011 (GVOBl. M-V S. 777) wird nach Beschlussfassung der Verbandsversammlung vom 28.11.2018 und Anzeige beim Landrat des Landkreises Mecklenburgische Seenplatte als untere Rechtsaufsichtsbehörde folgende Verbandssatzung erlassen: § 1 Verbandsmitglieder, Name, Sitz (1) Die nachstehend aufgeführten Gemeinden des Landkreises Mecklenburgische-Seenplatte bilden den Abwasserbeseitigungszweckverband Tollensesee: 1. Gemeinde Groß Nemerow, 2. Gemeinde Holldorf, 3. Stadt Burg Stargard mit den Ortsteilen Teschendorf, Gramelow, Loitz, Cammin, Godenswege und Riepke, 4. Gemeinde Blumenholz, 5. Gemeinde Hohenzieritz. (2) Der Abwasserbeseitigungszweckverband Tollensesee ist eine Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts. Wagner Family Anklam Vorward Why should we stumble over our history? Aren‘t there enough obstacles in our lives that we have to deal with? This „stumbling“ over a small square brass plate is a symbolic, intellectual stumbling. Stolpersteine are laid where people lived, worked and were violently victimised during the Nazi dictatorship. The Stolperstein‘s inscription, with the name, birth and death dates, stands specifically for a person whose fate must not be forgotten and must be direct- ly associated with the place where it is laid. If the fate of this person becomes noticeable again through the Stolperstein, the memory can be carried on in the heads and hearts of future generations. It is for this purpose that Martin, Mar- garete & Heinz Wagner are remembered with three Stolpersteine in Anklam. – 4 – Fagner Family Martin Wagner was born in Anklam on November 1, 1887. His parents were Isidor (October 3, 1855 - October 19, 1916) and Bertha Wagner, née Graetzer (March 27, 1855 - January 20, 1940). It is known that Hedwig Wagner, born on May 2, 1885, was also a part of this Jewish family. Hedwig was the older sister of Martin Wagner. There was also another sister, Thekla Wagner. The family lived at Keilstaße 16 and owned a shoe and household goods store. Martin Wagner married Margarete Joseph. On July 25, 1923 their son Heinz Wagner was born in Anklam. Die im Folgenden aufgeführten Gemeinden (oder entsprechenden kommunalen Verwaltungen) sind mit dem jeweiligen teilnehmenden Land (Bundesministerium für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur) als die Liste der in Betracht kommenden Einrichtungen vereinbart worden und können sich für das WiFi4EU-Programm bewerben. „Gemeindeverbände“, sofern sie für jedes Land festgelegt und nachstehend aufgeführt sind, können sich im Namen ihrer Mitgliedsgemeinden registrieren, müssen den endgültigen Antrag jedoch für jede Gemeinde in ihrer Registrierung einzeln online einreichen. Jeder Gutschein wird an eine einzelne Gemeinde als Antragsteller vergeben. Während der gesamten Laufzeit der Initiative kann jede Gemeinde nur einen einzigen Gutschein einsetzen. Daher dürfen Gemeinden, die im Rahmen einer Aufforderung für einen Gutschein ausgewählt wurden, bei weiteren Aufforderungen nicht mehr mitmachen, wohingegen sich Gemeinden, die einen Antrag gestellt, aber keinen Gutschein erhalten haben, in einer späteren Runde wieder bewerben können.
