[email protected] Abstract Purpose: The aim of this study was to measure the status of automation, training of staff and level of implementation towards library management systems in public and private university libraries in Lahore, Pakistan. Design/methodology/approach: This study used a quantitative research approach. A Survey was carried out to collect data from the respondents. A structured research instrument was formulated after a review of the literature to collect data from the university libraries of Lahore city.
