In general, the purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of Product Quality and Sales Promotion on the Purchasing Decision Process at PT. Tama Chocolate Indonesia. The subjects in this study were consumers who had bought Van Java Chocolate Ginger at PT. Tama Chocolate Indonesia. Based on the problems and objectives of the study, the researcher formulated a hypothesis, namely: there is an influence between product quality and sales promotion on the purchasing decision process of Van Java Chocolate Ginger at PT. Tama Cokelat Indonesia. The method used in this research is descriptive and associative methods. The population in this study is not known with certainty, so to determine the size of the sample is using the Non Probability Sampling Technique with purposive sampling. So in this study, a sample of 96 people was obtained. In addition, based on data analysis, it was found that all instruments used in this study were declared valid and reliable. Furthermore, for the research results, the calculation with the simultaneous significance test (f test) shows that there is a significant influence on product quality and sales promotion on the purchasing decision process of Van Java Chocolate Ginger at PT. Yet, the information on carboxymethyl lysine (CML) content, as a part of AGEs, in dietary intakes with predominantly traditional foods with diverse food processing is lacking. We developed a database of Indonesian foods to facilitate studies involving the assessment of dietary and plasma CML concentration by liquid-chromatography-tandem-mass spectrometry. We estimated dietary CML values of 206 food items from 2-repeated 24-h recalls of 235 Indonesian women with the mean age of 36±8 years old in a cross-sectional study. All foods were listed and grouped according to the Indonesian food composition table, completed for cooking methods, amount of consumptions, and ingredients. -

1 1 PENDAHULUAN Latar belakang Lembaga konsultan McKinsey Global Institute mengeluarkan laporan berjudul “The Archipelago Economy: Unleashing Indonesia’s Potential” pada tahun 2012, dan memperkirakan bahwa kelas konsumen Indonesia tumbuh dari45 juta orang di tahun 2010menjadi135 juta orang pada tahun 2030 dengan diperkirakan 90 juta penduduk Indonesia bergabung menjadi kelas konsumen.McKinsey Global Institute mengkategorikan kelas konsumen sebagai penduduk dengan pendapatan per kapita lebih besar atau sama dengan US$3.600 per tahun. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang pertumbuhan ekonominya ditopang oleh sektor konsumsi dalam negeri yang tinggi, hal ini terkait dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk kelas menengah. Asian Development Bank (ADB) mendefinisikan yang termasuk kedalam kelas menengah adalah penduduk dengan rentang pengeluaran perkapita perhari sebasar $2-20. Rentang yang digunakan oleh ADB merupakan yang paling cocok digunakan di negara-negara Asia termasuk Indonesia dalam mengukur jumlah kelas menengah.
