Annual Report - May 2014 David Peikoff Chair of Deaf Studies Western Canadian Centre for Deaf Studies “Working together to bridge research and community development.” Preamble On July 1, 2013, Dr. Kristin Snoddon assumed the position of the David Peikoff Chair of Deaf Studies. Dr. Debra Russell continued in her position as the Director of the Western Canadian Centre for Deaf Studies on a part-time basis.
