This Regulation establishes a voluntary environmental management scheme , based on harmonized lines and principles throughout the European Union, open to companies in the industrial sector operating in the European Union . The overall objective of the scheme is to promote continuous environmental performance improvements of industrial activities by committing sites to evaluate and improve their environ mental performance and provide relevant information to the public . Sites that wish to be registered in the scheme must have their environmental policy, programme , management system, review or audit procedure and environmental statement or statements examined , to verify that that they meet the requirements of this Regulation and the environmental statements validated . This verification and validation must be carried out by an independent, appropriately accredited , environmental verifier . Article 9 of the Regulation specifies that each year the Commission shall publish in the Official Journal of the European Communities a list of all the registered sites in the Community . The Film Music of Edmund Meisel (1894–1930) FIONA FORD, MA Thesis submitted to The University of Nottingham for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy DECEMBER 2011 Abstract This thesis discusses the film scores of Edmund Meisel (1894–1930), composed in Berlin and London during the period 1926–1930. In the main, these scores were written for feature-length films, some for live performance with silent films and some recorded for post-synchronized sound films. The genesis and contemporaneous reception of each score is discussed within a broadly chronological framework. Meisel‘s scores are evaluated largely outside their normal left-wing proletarian and avant-garde backgrounds, drawing comparisons instead with narrative scoring techniques found in mainstream commercial practices in Hollywood during the early sound era. The narrative scoring techniques in Meisel‘s scores are demonstrated through analyses of his extant scores and soundtracks, in conjunction with a review of surviving documentation and modern reconstructions where available. ii Acknowledgements I would like to thank the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) for funding my research, including a trip to the Deutsches Filminstitut, Frankfurt. Collyer | and | | HISPANIC BROADCASTING | CORPORATION, | | Defendants. | ______________________________________| UNITED STATES’ MOTION FOR ENTRY OF FINAL JUDGMENT Pursuant to Section 2(b) of the Antitrust Procedures and Penalties Act (“APPA”), 15 U.S.C. §§ 16 (b)-(h), plaintiff, the United States of America (“United States”), moves for entry of the proposed Final Judgment in this civil antitrust proceeding. The Final Judgment may be entered at this time without further hearing if the Court determines that entry is in the public interest. The Competitive Impact Statement, filed in this matter on May 7, 2003, explains why entry of the proposed Final Judgment would be in the public interest. The United States is filing simultaneously with this motion a Certificate of Compliance setting forth the steps taken by the parties to comply with all applicable provisions of the APPA and certifying that the statutory waiting period has expired. I. Background On March 26, 2003, the United States filed a Complaint alleging that the proposed acquisition of Hispanic Broadcasting Corp. (“HBC”) by Univision Communications Inc. (“Univision”) would substantially lessen competition in violation of Section 7 of the Clayton Act, 15 U.S.C. § 18. As explained more fully in the Complaint and Competitive Impact Statement (filed May 7, 2003), this transaction raised competitive concerns relating to the sale of advertising time on Spanish-language radio stations in several geographic markets. HBC is the nation’s largest Spanish-language radio broadcaster. -

Fourth quarter 2010 net revenue increased 11.8% to $576.7 million from $515.9 million in 2009 and adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization ³OIBDA´ 1, increased 23.2% to $259.4 million from $210.5 million in 2009. For the year ended December 31, 2010 net revenue increased 13.8% to $2,245.2 million from $1,972.5 million in 2009 and OIBDA1 increased 14.6% to $943.3 million from $823.4 million in 2009. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the 2010 FIFA World CupTM contributed an estimated $109.5 million of incremental net revenue and the incremental impact of the World Cup was an increase of an estimated $13.6 million in OIBDA during the year ended December 31, 2010.
