Tips for using Taxi in Gyeongju
Taxis can be found at the taxi stand in front of HICO’s main entrance. Most taxis in the Gyeongju area accept credit cards or transportation cards. However, some may request cash only, and it’s always useful to carry some cash (in KRW). The Taxi basic fare begins at KRW 2,800. Please note, rates may vary depending on the district or time of day.
The Tastes of Bomun Lake Resort
Gyeongju is divided into seven districts: Bomun Lake Resort, Bulguksa Temple, Downtown, Namsan (Southern Mountain), East Bay, Seoak Bukgun-dong (Western Mountain), and Northern. Of these, Bomun Lake Resort is an all-inclusive tourist district centered around Bomun Lake. It includes hotels, condominiums, golf courses, theme parks, theaters and other entertainment facilities as well as HICO, the area’s main venue. Gyeongju Convention & Visitors Bureau’s dining guide is intended to help Bomun Lake Complex visitors discover all the options in the district.
