Andrew Brown discovered his passion for running through a family tragedy. His son, Jake, was set for a career as a professional rugby player when he suffered a severe back injury in 2008. Jack Bretherick, Joe Durkin and Peter Hill. Andrew, 42, an assistant manager at Travis Perkins builders‟ merchants in Batley, said: "He had to give it up completely. It was terrible. That inspired me to run for charity and I became addicted to it." Andrew, of Thornhill Edge, Dewsbury, ran the London Marathon last year in aid of Back Care.
