Nomination Nomination emails should be sent by the home university to Procedure [email protected] and should include the following information:

• Student's name • Date of birth • Nationality • Field of study • Study Level (Bachelor or Master) • Exchange period requested • E-mail address

The deadline for fall semester: 30 June The deadline for spring semester: 30 November

Home institution needs to nominate the student for an exchange semester at CUAS! Being nominated, the students are asked to complete the Online Application! The application will only be processed with fully completed documents.

Application Students that have been nominated will receive an email from CUAS with Procedure detailed information about the online application. More information: https://www.fh-kaernten.at/en/international/incoming-exchange- students

Campus CUAS has five modern campuses in four cities: Villach, , Information Feldkirchen, Spittal an der Drau, all located in Carinthia.

All campuses are centrally located and are easy to reach by road or rail. German Language All students interested in learning German are asked to choose this course Course when completing the Learning Agreement. The German language course will be organized in Villach and will be free of charge for the incoming students.

Austrian National All incoming students are obliged to pay Austrian National Student´s Union Union of Students fee (EUR 20.20 in the academic year 2020/21) which is a compulsory fee for Fee all students in Austria.

Welcome day At the beginning of each semester Welcome Days for all international students take place. During the event lots of practical information about living and studying in Austria is given. Last but not least, it is the perfect opportunity to meet the other incoming students!

Accommodation CUAS International Relations Office offers Incoming Exchange Students information support regarding accommodation. For CUAS sites Villach, Klagenfurt and Spittal rooms are available in student dormitories. If there is no accommodation available, we will help you to get in touch with potential landlords.
