BAB IV HASIL PENELITIAN DAN PEMBAHASAN A. Hasil Penelitian 1. Deskripsi Tempat Penelitian Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Bakalan Sumberadi Mlati Sleman Yogyakarta. Secara geografis Desa Bakalan Kecamatan Mlati terletak di sebelah Barat Kabupaten Sleman dengan jarak membentang kurang lebih 80 Km dengan luas wilayah 1.440 ha. Desa Bakalan Sumberadi Mlati Sleman ini terdiri dari sawah, lading/perkebunan, pemukimam/sarana umum, pengangonan/mata air dan lainnya. Secara administrasi batas wilayah Desa Bakalan sesuai dengan Peraturan Desa atau dasar hukumnya nomor 03 tahun 2003 tentang penetapan batas desa yang berbentuk satu buah pilar yaitu: - Sebelah Utara : Desa Jumeneng Kecamataan Mlati - Sebelah Selatan : Desa Bedingin Kecamatan Mlati - Sebelah Timur : Desa Brengosan Kecamataan Mlati - Sebelah Barat : Desa Kamal Kecamataan Mlati Kondisi Desa Bakalan pada umumnya sama dengan desa - desa yang lain yang ada di wilayah Kecamaan Mlati Kabupaten Sleman termasuk Desa Bakalan dengan katagori Desa tertinggal. Dengan ketertinggalannya Desa Bakalan tetap berupaya ingin setara dengan desa-desa yang sudah maju dan ingin meningkatkan tingkat perkembangan desa menjadi salah satu Desa Berkembang Secara umum Bakalan mengalami beberapa kemajuan-kemajuan baik dibidang Ekonomi, Bidang Pendidikan, Bidang Kesehatan. Dari hasil analis perkembangan 37 Desa Bakalan menunjukan perkiraan rata-rata 5-7% pertahun sehingga status perkembangan Desa Bakalan adalah desa “swadaya” dengan katagori perkembangan “MULA” seperti desa yang masih membutuhkan prioritas penangangan masalah pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar seperti Ekonomi Pendidikan dan Kesehatan. 2. Deskripsi Karakteristik Subjek Penelitian Subjek dalam penelitian merupakan ibu pekerja dan ibu bukan pekerja di Desa Bakalan Sumberadi Sleman Yogyakarta yang memiliki anak balita (usia 0-60 bulan), bersedia menjadi informan dan memiliki waktu yang memadai menjadi informan penelitian.
