Revolution White Solera MV Bioweingut Johannes Zillinger Winemaker: Johannes Zillinger Region: Niederösterreich, Austria Grapes: Chardonnay (50%), Scheurebe (25%), Riesling (25%) Profile: Apricot, Christmas spices, brioche, a bit of terra cotta. The Chardonnay provides fruit, weight, texture. The Scheurebe is there for floral characteristics. The Riesling solera is the structural backbone of the wine, it is there for acidity and a rocky mouthfeel. Grape Growing: Certified organic and Demeter bio-dynamic. Johannes uses Demeter treatments 500 (horn manure), 501 (horn kiesel mountain crystal) and 507 (herbs and valerian to help with frost and vine relaxation). A small group of local winemakers co-produce the fermented manure 30km from the vineyard. Needless to say, all grapes are manually harvested. Winemaking: The Chardonnay is added whole bunch pressed into 500L Georgian Qvevri (amphorae). The qvevri is sealed and left underground for 6 months, after which the wine is removed, and very loosely racked off the solids. The finished result is then blended with two different soleras. The first solera contains 6 vintages of Riesling (2013-2018) the other has 3 vintages of Scheurebe (2016-2018). Both soleras are kept in stainless steel to preserve freshness. After this, the resulting wine is never filtered, never sulfured, and finally bottled. (Bottled, April 24, 2019) More About the Wine: The "Solera-System" of Riesling which has been built up since 2013 gives character to this wine. Structure comes out of the must fermentation of Chardonnay from selected berries and grapes which is done in amphoras of 500 liters. The revolutionary taste of this Alc: 12.5% wine is the result of nothing added nothing removed winemaking. -

Resumen: Gracias a la comprobación y mejora del modelo del índice de satisfacción Europeo, ECSI (European Customer Satisfaction Index), se ha podido determinar la satisfacción del cliente de los vinos de Denominación de Origen Protegida (DOP) del Somontano a partir de las otras variables pertenecientes al modelo (calidad, imagen, expectativas, valor y lealtad), con el objetivo de difundir estos conocimientos en revistas de gran impacto. La gestión de la calidad del producto y el cálculo de la satisfacción del cliente presenta una de las posibles estrategias que las empresas emplean para mejorar el marketing, y por lo tanto la venta de sus productos. With support from the Great Southern Development Commission (GSDC) and Austrade, six Great Southern wineries took part in the 2011 Hong Kong International Wine and Spirit Fair (HKIWSF), attended by up to 14,000 delegates, and a targeted tasting event Forest Hill general manager Paul Byron in Taipei, Taiwan. introduces the winery’s range to some Taiwanese wine tasters. GSDC Chief Executive Officer Bruce Manning said ensuring that regional wineries were represented at the key target market events continued the push to grow Great Southern wine exports. “Recent initiatives have helped to raise the profile of Great Southern wines in Asian markets,” Mr Manning said. “Promoting the region’s wines at the Hong Kong wine fair gained exposure to thousands of delegates. “Great Southern riesling was highlighted at a masterclass, and a networking event gave importers and distributors a chance to meet the producers. “Following the Hong Kong event, the visit to Taiwan provided the opportunity to build a presence in a relatively new market for Great Southern wines,” Mr Manning said. El Correo del Vino El Periódico diario del Vino Español Número 4.516 Fundado en 1947 Fecha, 2 de julio de 2021 Comentario de la Semana LAS SUBIDAS NO SE LIMITAN SOLO AL VINO La subida de precios de los vinos a granel es un hecho en estos momentos y, también al menos de momento, parece firme y estable, el vino a granel en estos momentos cuesta sobre un 10-15% más que hace tres meses y nadie espera que, de aquí a la vendimia, el precio baje. Esa al menos es la impresión que hay en el mercado. Si esto sigue así, y aunque les hable de hipótesis, ya que no quiero que se diga que ya estoy intentando poner precio a las uvas, ni mucho más o menos, pero lo normal sería que el precio de la uva y, por tanto, de elaboración, sea más o menos el del año pasado, céntimos arriba o abajo. Partiendo de estas realidades y estas hipótesis, aunque estén mezcladas, vamos al meollo de este articulo. Normalmente las plantillas de precios de ventas de vino se presentan entre los meses de noviembre a febrero, según firmas compradoras o vendedoras y se firman para todo el año, lo que compromete bastante al ven- dedor ya que si hay subidas de precio del vino las tiene que asumir, igual que si hay bajadas normalmente les dicen que ajusten precios, o no le compran la cantidad de vino comprometida, ya lo saben todos los que tienen que pasar por este trance de las plantillas de precios… Este año hay que ajustar muchas más cosas, no solo el vino, casi diría que el vino, como ocurre muchas veces, es lo que menos importancia tiene en el montante de una botella de vino normal, puesta ya en el lineal de la tienda. -
