The grapes were harvested by hand at night to preserve freshness. The Mas de Pampelonne vineyard is located along the Pampelonne beach on sandy soil. Created by Florentin Gal in 1886, it is now run by Camille Coste, the daughter of Christine Coste Gal. This 12-hectare domain is managed using controlled environmentally friendly agriculture techniques. This wine is produced from a selection of the domain’s best grapes, a blend of Grenache and Cinsault. The grapes were picked exclusively by hand and sorted as soon as they reach the cellar.

Very similar to the 2016 vintage, it’s a field blend of 50/50 and Lemberger co-fermented together and pressed early to produce a light Rose style. The final blend will see some barrel, between 20-30% which will create a nice mid-palette roundness. Initial tastings are showing a very aromatic wine with wonderful tropical notes.
