Accompanying Persons Program Naples and surrounding areas provide many touristic opportunities for the accompanying persons. Here is a list of possible guided tours that can be reserved contacting directly the travel agency ([email protected]). The price of each tour will be provided upon request directly by the travel agency and it will depend mainly on the number of participants. Naples This guided tour will start from Piazza del Gesù and will show you the most suggestive churches and the most ancient monasteries of Naples, and will end in San Gregorio Armeno, the street where the picturesque workshops specialized in producing nativity scenes are located. The end point of this tour is close to the entrance of Naples underground. Amalfi Coast Your guide will pick you up at the hotel and you will depart for the wonderful Amalfi coast to visit Positano, Amalfi, the Grotta dello Smeraldo, Vietri, and Salerno. Pompei archeological site This tour will lead you through the streets of Pompei with his squares, theaters, houses, thermal baths, temples, and the famous Lupanari. This tour will show you how Pompei was and how people used to leave before the Vesuvio eruption. The royal palace of Caserta Discover the beauty of the stunning Royal Palace of Caserta and of its wonderful gardens designed by Luigi Vanvitelli for the king of Naples Carlo, visiting the throne room and the private apartment of the queen Maria Carolina of Austria. Capri You will depart with your guide from the hotel and you will take the boat from Beverello wharf to Capri. First stop will be Villa San Michele (Anacapri) and then you will reach the top of the Solaro Mount by Chair lift. Then you will visit the Grotta Azzurra and after lunch there will be time for doing shopping in the Piazzetta. .

If we take the two entrance points to the Amalfi Coast with Sorrento in the north and Salerno in the south, the road goes through the towns in this order: Positano | Praiano | Amalfi | Atrani | Minori | Maiori | Cetara | Vietri Sul Mare It's important to know the order as that would make exploring the towns a bit easier. The Sorrento to Salerno direction is more preferrable as, by being in the right lane, you are right next to the cliffs with no opposing traffic to block your view. There are no trains serving the Amalfi Coast. But just a few turns off the main drag is a relatively obscure town that might be the best-kept secret on the famed Italian costiera. Tucked in the mountains between Positano and Amalfi, the coast’s namesake, Praiano is an ancient fi shing village that was the favorite summer retreat of first-century Roman emperors and the medieval-era doges (dukes) of the maritime Republic of Amalfi. Whitewashed homes with terraced gardens cascade down dramatic stone cliffs; historic sites and natural wonders pepper this hilly expanse of the Sorrentine Peninsula, and small boutiques sell locally made wares, all minus the tourists who throng the streets of Praiano’s better-known neighbors. Fishing and artisanal craftsmanship remain the two main industries in this town of only 2,000 permanent residents, which means visitors can enjoy just-caught seafood at the many alfresco trattorias that dot the mountainsides and stock up on handcrafted majolica ceramics. But the main attraction in Praiano remains what everyone comes to the Amalfi Coast to see: jaw-dropping vistas visible from every nook and alley in the hamlet.
