This special place is only accessible by small boat and once inside the grotto, you will see the sunlight pass into the underwater cavity and shine through the seawater, to create a stunning blue reflection. This tour also includes some time at Anacapri, the highest part of the island which affords some fantastic views over The Bay of Naples. Treat that special someone to a day on a private boat in a small group of under 12 people. Transfer to the port where you will set sail for Amalfi, travelling along the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast. Stops can include Marciano, Mitigliano and Bagni della Regina Giovanna, the last of which provides free time for swimming and snorkelling. Along the Amalfi Coastline you will visit the Island of Li Galli, Nerano, Praiano with further time to swim and snorkel. For a €5 per person fee, you can enter the Grotta dello Smeraldo, before arriving in Positano. Depart from Amalfi and enjoy Happy Hour on board with a Limoncello tasting as you travel back to Sorrento after a blissful day! Price Per Person: From £130. Includes transport, assistance and Limoncello drinks. page 3/6 Day 3 Choice of Pompeii Tours Today you have the choice of two thrilling Pompeii tours: Option 1 – Pompeii & Herculaneum Join your guided small group for a tour through Pompeii. Discover the remains of this ill-fated city including the Baths, Forums and villa built by the Romans in 80BC. Marvel at the remains of the frescos that adorn the walls and floors in some of the villas that remain. Then travel onto Herculaneum to see a better preserved city, where you can still walk the same streets as the residents did over 2,000 years ago, see the timber features and household objects. Excavations of this fascinating region are still going on today. Option 2 – Pompeii & Mount Vesuvius If you want to explore Pompeii with your guided small group but then want sweeping views of the region, then continuing on after Pompeii to Mount Vesuvius is the tour to pick. The bus brings you up to 1,000 metres and then you are free to walk the remaining 200 metres to the crater. Please note if you are doing this tour you need warm, layered clothing. If you require walking aids, there is a local guide who hires out walking sticks to help with your climb. This service is optional and requires a small fee payable locally, as does the option to walk up to the 1,200 metres point. Evening at leisure. DAY 4 Private Transfer to the airport At leisure until your private transfer to the airport. Alternatively, if your flight is not until the afternoon/evening, why not add in our Optional Private Guided Catacombs tour. With your guide you will get to discover the Catacombs of San Gennaro, before transfering onto the airport for your flight home after. See Optional Extra below for more information. However, if you don’t want your Italian adventure to finish just yet, why not add on a few days in Rome. You can either opt for our main Rome tours or if you are visiting during July and August and love opera and the ballet, then the Caracalla Summer Festival is taking place. Get to experience either an opera or the ballet with the backdrop of the Caracalla ruins in truly mesmerising open-air surroundings! If Opera and the ballet is of interest to you, then maybe our Bel Canto Naples Opera Break is more of interest. page 4/6 Where You'll Stay Hotel Imperial Tramontano - Sorrento (4 Star) It's location is hard to beat being only within 5 mins walking distance of Sorrento centre. It is also ideally placed for collecting the Circumvesuviana Train to both Herculaneum and Pompeii. The hotel can boast many distinguished guests including Goethe, Byron, Scott, Shelley and Keats, along with many others. The hotel terrace was also the inspiration of the world famous song "Torna a Surriento" composed by G B De Curtis. Bellevue Syrene - Sorrento (5 Star) If this is not enough, Bellevue Syrene also has it's own private solarium and beach with a Roman pedestrian passageway carved out of the rocks. From here you can swim, use the tanning beds or sunbath. Guests have access to the wellness centre, along with the wine cellar, but also has a choice of three wonderful dining areas. The hotel is situated within a 5 minutes walk of Sorrento centre and close access to the Circumvesuviana Train for trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Travel’s taste YOUR LUXURY TRAVEL PARTNER IN ITALY www.italycreative.it Amalfi Coast Amalfi More about: things to know Coast www.italycreative.it Deemed by Unesco to be an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, the Amalfi Coast is a beguiling combination of great beauty and gripping drama: coastal mountains plunge into the sea in a stunning vertical scene of precipitous crags, picturesque towns and lush forests. Most hotels and villas are open from March/April through October/November. The towns on the water with beaches include Amalfi, Atrani, Cetara, Furore, Maiori, Minori, Praiano, Positano, and Vietri sul Mare. Towns higher up on the cliffs include Agerola, Ravello, Scala, and Tramonti. Amalfi Coast is crossed by Strada Statale 163 Amalfitana (world-famous known as Amalfi Drive), a 50km (30 miles) stretch of road from north to south. If we take the two entrance points to the Amalfi Coast with Sorrento in the north and Salerno in the south, the road goes through the towns in this order: Positano | Praiano | Amalfi | Atrani | Minori | Maiori | Cetara | Vietri Sul Mare It's important to know the order as that would make exploring the towns a bit easier. The Sorrento to Salerno direction is more preferrable as, by being in the right lane, you are right next to the cliffs with no opposing traffic to block your view. There are no trains serving the Amalfi Coast.
