CALL FOR PAPERS Israel Journal of Foreign Affairs

Founded in 2006 by the late Dr. David Kimche, The Israel Journal of Foreign Affairs is the flagship publication of the Israel Council on Foreign Relations (ICFR), which is a non-partisan body that operates under the auspices of the World Jewish Congress. The interdisciplinary journal is published three times a year by the UK-based publishing house Taylor & Francis/Routledge and is a vehicle through which the ICFR aspires to stimulate high-level analysis and debate of international affairs, particularly, though not exclusively, regarding Israel, the Middle East, and Jewish affairs.

The Israel Journal of Foreign Affairsis seeking submissions from lecturers, researchers, and outstanding graduate students in international relations and diplomacy, history, and political science.

Only unpublished works (and those not currently under consideration for publication) may be submitted. Papers should be no longer than 4,500 words on topics relating to foreign affairs, both contemporary and historical, with preference given to articles dealing with Israel and the Jewish people.All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the editors, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double blind and submission is via email.

The journal is also seeking book reviews, up to 1,500 words, of contemporary literature in the field.The editors are happy to consider recommendations for books or provide interested individuals with a list of titles for which they are seeking reviewers.
