The Highway 401 interchange for Highway 416 to Ottawa is located 27 kilometers / 17 miles east of Brockville. Rail service for the City Brockville is provided by VIA Rail. Via Rail offers daily service to Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and the Windsor-Quebec City corridor.
Freight The Canadian National Railway operates the freight and passenger service along the double-tracked mainline along the Quebec City Windsor corridor. The port spur line connects to this mainline and through interchange agreements provides service to Canadian Pacific customers as well.
CN and CP freight lines are located Brockville. Service is reliable to business and industry located in the community. Brockville is serviced daily by five freight trains.
For loads that are less than full, CN Route operates a parcel delivery service that connects Brockville to other major centres.

This airport keeps a good supply of 100 low lead, Jet A-1 (Premium auto fuel) on hand. A fuel attendant is available from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM daily. After 4:30 PM, a callout fee of $30 is applicable. Please provide advance notice if you require after hours fueling. The Brockville - 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport is unique in its ability to offer regular clients access to fuel through a Keytrol Fuel System. Each “subscriber” has his own individual key and meter allowing access to fuel at any time. At the end of the month, an invoice is mailed to the client.
Automatic Weather Observation Station: Pilot flight planning to the Brockville - 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport may wish to access the Ogdensburg, NY AWOS for that airport’s current weather conditions: Tel: (315)393-8982. The Ogdensburg AWOS transmits 24 hours a day. The Ogdensburg AWOS can also be heard on 118.525 MHz. The Port of Prescott has a Transport Canada approved and in place Marine Facility Security Plan.
Located on Highway 2, the Port of Prescott is on the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway, 20 kilometers East of Elizabethtown-Kitley. The port provides deep water dockage for shipping and receiving of dry bulk cargo such as grain, road salt and slag. The Port is within 2 kilometers of the Prescott-Ogdensburg international bridge to the United States.
The land is area is approximately 35 hectares 17 of which are occupied by commercial port and grain activities. The Port has marine terminal sites for lease and land available for development. Rates and tariffs are available on the Port of Prescott website.
