ln pursuance to the order no. 375/HSIPA/20 dated 7th July, 2o2O of Home & Hill Affairs and p.A. Department and in pursuance of the meeting of District LevelTask Force on COVID-19 containment held on 08.07.2020, the following areas are declared as broader containment zones as on 11.07.2020 in :

Area/Ward /Block No. 1 Ward No 2 (partlv) Municipal Corporation 2 Ward No 4 (partly) Siliguri Municipal Corporation 3 Ward No 5 (partly) Siliguri Municipal Corporation 4 Ward No 28 (partly) Siliguri Municipal Corporation 5 Ward No 46 (partly) Siliguri Municipal Corporation Siliguri Town Station Bazar From North side, Local Bus stand to South side near 6 Uttar Banga Sambad Office, and to South-West, upto Siliguri M unicipal Corporation Bagrakot Railway- crossing (falls under partly in ward no. 18 and partly in ward no. 20) 7 From Champasari Road traffic crossing through the whole Nivedita Road with adjoining markets, to Bandhan Bank Pradhannagar branch to Gurung Siliguri Municipal Corporation Basty Bazar upto Chang's Taxi Service and Siliguri Model High School (falls in ward no. 3)

All offices, govt. & private (except the offices providing essential services and involved in COVID management), all non-essential activities, all congregations, all internal transport within the above containment zones, all market complexes & industrial and trading activities shall remain closed /are prohibited in the above mentioned containment zones.
