The highlight of 2019 was the celebration of our 50th Nonprofit Legal Check Up in September at King & Spalding. Attorneys from UPS, The Coca-Cola Company, and King & Spalding helped identify 123 legal issues for 12 nonprofits. Attendees enjoyed cake as we celebrated the far-reaching accomplishments of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta’s signature program over the last 12 years:

• 508 nonprofit clients served • 4,581 legal matters identified • 1,738 volunteer attorneys • $3.5 million in free legal advice

The Legal Check Up enables attorneys from law firms and corporations to mitigate legal risks for non- profits across Greater Atlanta. I would be remiss if I did not thank The UPS Foundation for sponsoring the Nonprofit Legal Check Up since 2010, and Senior Corporate/Tax Counsel Robyn Miller for serving as the staff lead for the program since inception.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff team at PBPA, thank you for supporting us!

Thank you, Rachel Epps Spears
