Также в статье раскрывается суть понятия «информационно-коммуникационные технологии», описаны виды обучающих интернет-ресурсов. Средства ИКТ подразделяются на аппаратные и программные, они эффективно применяются в современной образовательной среде. Предполагаемые результаты дальнейшего исследования, направленного на проверку эффективности Веб-квеста в улучшении языковой компетенции учащихся, представлены в статье. THE USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT Research article Lubkina E.I.1, Shustova I.N.2 1, 2 Voronezh State Pedagogical University * Corresponding author (irina.philatova[at]mail.ru) Abstract The article is devoted to the question of use of modern informational technologies in teaching foreign languages. The essence of the notion “information and communication technologies” is also revealed, kinds of learning Internet-resources are described. ICT-means are classified into hardware and software. They are efficiently applied in the contemporary educational environment. The prospective results of the further research directed at the testing of the efficiency of Web Quest in improvement of students’ language competence are presented in the article. Keywords: educational environment, computerization, informational educational technologies, telecommunication, information and communication technologies, hotlist, treasure hunt, subject sampler, multimedia scrapbook, web quest, hardware and software ICT-means. Introduction Life in the twenty-first century changes rapidly. Modern world sets up new rules and standards which, consequently, reflect upon the sphere of education. Nowadays, raising and teaching a person capable of living in constantly changing, highly technological world has become one of the most important directions of modern education. As a result of computerization of the system of Russian education, the priority project «Современная цифровая образовательная среда в Российской Федерации» (СЦОС) (Modern digital educational environment in the Russian Federation) (MDEE) has been approved. The aim of the project (СЦОС/ MDEE) is to provide incessant teaching of all categories of citizens during their life period in any place, and in any time according to their individual plan [2], [4]. All these reforms give an impulse to emergence and evolution of recent methods and pedagogical technologies. Method Selecting and analyzing the material for the article, we studied a number of theoretical sources on the question of information and communication technologies used in modern education. We analyzed definitions of the word combination “informational educational technologies” to specify its meaning, studied and compared different opinions of modern scientists working on this problem to form our own understanding of the topic we are working at. Discussion Under pedagogical (educational) technology, G. K. Selevko understands “the system of functioning of all components of pedagogical process, built on the scientific basis, programmed in time and space, and leading to the established results” [5]. According to G. K. Selevko’s opinion, informational educational technologies comprise all technologies applied in the sphere of education which use special technical informational tools (computer, audio, and video, movies) in order to achieve pedagogical aims. If, together with it, telecommunication is used, the term “information and communication technologies” (ICT) appears [5]. There are several definitions of the term telecommunication. E.S. Polat, for instance, defines this notion in such a way: In the international practice, under the term of “telecommunication”, the transmission of arbitrary information to a distance by means of technical devises, h. e. telephone, radio, telegraph, television etc., is understood. In school practice, speaking of telecommunications, we often mean transference, reception, processing, and storage of information by means of computer, or on special high performance communication lines, or on traditional telephone lines with 4 RUSSIAN LINGUISTIC BULLETIN 1 (17) 2019 the help of a modem, or with the help of satellite connection. All mentioned above is united under the term of computer telecommunication [3, P.147]. ICT have their own means. Under ICT-means, I.V. Robert understands “hardware and software tools and devices, functioning on the base of microprocessor-based computing equipment as well as modern means and systems of information exchange, providing operations on gathering, production, accumulation, keeping, processing, and transmission of information” [4, P.10]. Eline Helmer 2 Abstract Being the only conversational participant with the ability to follow both sides of a cross- linguistic dialogue gives the interpreter the power to obscure or clarify. Because of heightened mutual dependency, all interpreters need trust to perform their roles. They actively build trust, both between self and client and between clients. In academic linguistic contexts, trust is often regarded as based on impartiality: the more objective and invisible the interpreter, the better and more professional he or she will be. In practice, this approach is not always possible, or desirable. The trust relationship between client and interpreter can also be based on closeness and personal interdependence. Interpreting po-chelovecheski (lit. ‘approaching someone in a humane way’) is a colloquial way for Russian interpreters to describe this approach. This thesis explores the negotiation of trust by Russian interpreters. The Russian translation market’s unregulated character, and historical framing of ‘the foreigner’ as someone to be protected and mistrusted, make for an interesting case to study face-to-face interpreting at all levels of the international dialogue. Based on ethnographic fieldwork with interpreters from St Petersburg, Moscow and Pskov, I argue that becoming ‘someone’s voice’ presents a specific caring relationship.

According to the first, the great Russian poet secretly loved one woman all his life and dedicated many unattributed poems to her. This is the mythologeme of Pushkin’s hidden love. The other side of the myth is based on the “Ushakova’s Album” (her personal notebook for her friends’ poetries), in which the poet joked down the names of all his beloveds (Don Juan List). On the basis of this document, the literary critic P. Guber and the “publisher” of Pushkin’s Secret Notes, M. Armalinsky, make ambiguous conclusions and give a new life to Pushkin myth in the 20-21st centuries. There has been no shortage of good surveys of the pho­ netic system of British (and more recently of American) Eng­ lish either abroad or in the Soviet Union. What has been lacking, however, is a more-or-less complete account of the pronunciation of English written from the point of view of the Estonian learner. We do now have a competently written and thorough survey of English intonation and accentuation in comparison with that of Estonian (П. К. Ваараск, Тониче­ ские средства речи, ч. I—II, Таллин 1964 ), but there is as yet no comprehensive account of the English vowels and con­ sonants, of various assimilatory phenomena in English, etc. written with the Estonian learner in mind. The present hand­ book constitutes a modest attempt to fill this gap. The aim of this publication is to provide advanced Estonian learners of English with the essential theoretical and practical material which would enable them to master English pronunciation themselves and to learn how to teach it to others. Despite being a contempo- rary and often a companion-in-arms to outstanding Russian public and military officers, he could not secure a dominant position on the military Areopagus. More- over, in the post-war period his life was scarred by tragedies. In the Russian culture, he became notorious because of his wife. Over the last two centuries, Ye. F. Kern has been described as a “rude” and “ignorant” person destroying the aspirations of a young, courtly, and educated woman to- wards noble ideals and sublime feelings. This article considers the features of provincial military life in the light of its hardships and routine aggravated by the peculiarities of bureaucracy typical of Russian peripheral centres of the time. The case of Ye. F. Kern helps understand how a Russian general, despite the vicis- situdes of fate — battle injuries, career hardships, family discord, and lack of stability — managed to remain true to the once chosen direction in life — ser- vice of the country.
