This peaceful campground sits amidst green grass and shade Winemucca, Booth Hart Mt. trees on the shore of Goose Lake, a large, shallow lake that State Scenic Corridor 395 straddles the Oregon-California border. Its remote location makes reservations unnecessary. The Lake County railroad, Klamath Falls Lakeview which crosses the park, runs mid-day to the main line in 95 mi. Alturas, California. Visitors are thrilled by the overwhelming bird life inhabiting
the Goose Lake valley. Migratory waterfowl is most abundant 1 5 in the spring and early summer when stream runoff is at its m i l e peak.
