M. 9 Los autores Leonor Acuña es Profesora adjunta de Dialectología Hispanoamericana, Historia de la Lengua y Lingüística Diacrónica en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Es además investigadora responsable del área de etnolingüística del Instituto Nacional de Antropología y Pensamiento Latinoamericano (Secretaría de Cultura de la Nación). Fue vicedirectora y directora del Laboratorio de Idiomas de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UBA entre 1991 y 2000. Desarrolló el área de enseñanza del español como lengua segunda y extranjera en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UBA y dirigió un proyecto de educación intercultural bilingüe para escuelas de modalidad aborigen del departamento Ramón Lista de la provincia de Formosa (1999 a 2003). Desde 2004 dirige un proyecto para la creación de un área de segundas lenguas (español, toba, wichí y mocoví) en la provincia del Chaco. Es autora de libros y artículos sobre el contacto del español con el mapuche y el wichí, y sobre la enseñanza del español como lengua segunda y extranjera. Héctor Andreani nació en La Banda, Santiago del Estero (Argentina) en 1982. Licenciado en Letras por la Universidad Nacional de Santiago del Estero, profesor en lengua y literatura y diplomado en lingüística quichua. Actualmente es becario de investigación doctoral del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas –CONICET- en la Universidad Nacional de Santiago del Estero (UNSE), y está haciendo un doctorado en ciencias antropológicas en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Sus líneas de investigación son el estudio de la ideología y la socialización lingüística en ámbitos bilingües, las narraciones orales y la escritura quichua, así como etnografías educativas en el ámbito rural de Santiago del Estero. M. Belén Apud Higonet es estudiante de la carrera Prof. en Letras de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, de la UNLPam. Es adscripta a la cátedra de Sociolingüística de dicha carrera y participa del proyecto de investigación titulado “Etnolingüística Amerindia. Aspectos lingüísticos, sociolingüísticos, culturales y educativos” y en el Proyecto de Extensión Universitaria titulado “Lengua ranquel, patrimonio de la Provincia de La Pampa, su enseñanza y mantenimiento”. Ha presentado distintas ponencias en congresos de la especialidad, como, por ejemplo, “Alternancia de códigos en hablantes bilingües coordinados de la lengua ranquel” (2009) y “Cambio de código en hablantes ranqueles bilingües subordinados” (2010). 11 Florencia Ciccone es becaria doctoranda de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y docente de la cátedra de Etnolingüística de la misma universidad. Ha publicado capítulos de libros y artículos científicos en revistas nacionales e internacionales como Signo y Seña, Indiana y Amerindia. Es co-autora, además, de materiales didácticos para la enseñanza y divulgación de las lenguas tapiete y vilela y de cartillas y cuadernillos para la formación de lingüistas indígenas. Ha sido consultora externa del equipo técnico de la Modalidad de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe, Ministerio de Educación de la Nación y asesora de contenidos de la muestra “Chacu: Multitud de Naciones. Lenguas Indígenas en el Gran Chaco Argentino”, Museo del Libro y de la Lengua, Biblioteca Nacional. Sus líneas de investigación y producción se vinculan con el estudio de aspectos morfosintácticos y discursivos de la lengua tapiete (tupí- guaraní), lingüística de contacto y relaciones entre lengua, cultura y sociedad. Patricia Dante es Licenciada y Profesora en Letras por la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). Participa como investigadora tesista en el proyecto de investigación titulado “Lenguas indígenas de Argentina y países limítrofes, con especial referencia a la región del Gran Chaco (toba, chorote, maká, mbya y quechua boliviano). Estudios descriptivos, tipológicos y de contacto lingüístico” (UBA). Ha publicado artículos en diversas revistas especializadas en lingüística y etnolingüística

    Languages of the Middle Andes in areal-typological perspective: Emphasis on Quechuan and Aymaran Willem F.H. Adelaar 1. Introduction1 Among the indigenous languages of the Andean region of Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, northern Chile and northern Argentina, Quechuan and Aymaran have traditionally occupied a dominant position. Both Quechuan and Aymaran are language families of several million speakers each. Quechuan consists of a conglomerate of geo- graphically defined varieties, traditionally referred to as Quechua “dialects”, not- withstanding the fact that mutual intelligibility is often lacking. Present-day Ayma- ran consists of two distinct languages that are not normally referred to as “dialects”. The absence of a demonstrable genetic relationship between the Quechuan and Aymaran language families, accompanied by a lack of recognizable external gen- etic connections, suggests a long period of independent development, which may hark back to a period of incipient subsistence agriculture roughly dated between 8000 and 5000 BP (Torero 2002: 123–124), long before the Andean civilization at- tained its highest stages of complexity. Quechuan and Aymaran feature a great amount of detailed structural, phono- logical and lexical similarities and thus exemplify one of the most intriguing and intense cases of language contact to be found in the entire world. Often treated as a product of long-term convergence, the similarities between the Quechuan and Ay- maran families can best be understood as the result of an intense period of social and cultural intertwinement, which must have pre-dated the stage of the proto-lan- guages and was in turn followed by a protracted process of incidental and locally confined diffusion.

New descriptions of all previously named species are provided, except Alophophion 2 Departamento de Entomología, Museo de holosericeus (Taschenberg, 1875) for which the type series is lost and the name is herein Historia Natural, Universidad Nacional Mayor considered a nomen dubium. The female of A. flavorufus(Brullé, 1846) is described for the first de San Marcos. Av. Arenales 1256 Jesús María, time. Four informal species groups are proposed based on the morphology of the mandibles, Lima 14, Perú development of the malar space, and general proportions of the head (i.e., development of the face and gena). Fighting With Wine: Ruin, Resistance and Renewal in a Qom Community of Northern Argentina Abstract This study examines public binge drinking among the Qom (Toba) ex-foragers of Formosa, northern Argentina. Based upon 15 months of ethnographic fieldwork in a peri-urban Qom barrio (Lot 84), this analysis relates binge drinking to Qom ethnohistory, community life, and interactions with the Argentine state. The public, performative nature of Qom binge drinking is explored; intoxication is shown to convey in sometimes violent public spectacle the pathos of their socioeconomic marginality, reinforce non- indigenous Argentines’ entrenched perceptions of violent “Indians”, and paradoxically provide the Qom with vehicle for continued colonial resistance. Many Qom view drinking problems as rooted in Lot 84’s close proximity to the city (Formosa) relative to more rural Qom villages. Thus they reference a continuum of health that runs from urban, non-indigenous spaces to the rural bush country where foods—including home-brewed alcohol—are healthful rather than harmful.

Golluscio Área: Lingüística UNIVERSIDAD DE BUENOS AIRES FACULTAD DE FILOSOFIA Y LETRAS 1 Resumen La presente Tesis de Doctorado se centra en la documentación y descripción de la lengua ayoreo, perteneciente a la familia zamuco. Si bien la lengua se habla en Paraguay y Bolivia, los datos aquí presentados fueron recolectados en cinco trabajos de campo en la comunidad de Campo Loro, República del Paraguay, entre 2011 y 2016, de acuerdo con los postulados de la lingüística de la documentación. En estas visitas se recolectaron más de doscientas horas de audio y numerosas filmaciones en alta calidad. A su vez, se trabajó con más de veinte consultantes de ambos sexos y de variadas edades. El objetivo central de esta investigación es describir el funcionamiento de la combinación clausal en lengua ayoreo desde una perspectiva tipológica y funcional. El marco teórico elegido es el de la Gramática del Rol y la Referencia. Se realiza también una caracterización general de la lengua en la que se puntualiza en los temas que ayudan a la mejor comprensión del funcionamiento de las cláusulas en ayoreo. Entre las contribuciones originales de esta investigación doctoral al conocimiento de la lengua ayoreo y las lenguas de América del Sur se encuentran las siguientes: - la identificación de una estrategia de tiempo nominal - sistematización de los verbos de movimiento

    FACULTAD DE FILOLOGÍA DEPARTAMENTO DE LENGUA ESPAÑOLA ACTIVIDADES INTERCULTURALES MEDIANTE HISTORIETAS PARA LA CLASE DE ESPAÑOL COMO LENGUA EXTRANJERA EN ARGENTINA TESIS DOCTORAL Presentada por Hanne Bongaerts Dirigida por Javier de Santiago Guervós y Kris Buyse SALAMANCA, 2017 Macanudo (por Liniers) - 15 de mayo 2017 – La Nación 1 Resumen En el presente trabajo se espera sintetizar, para el profesor de español como lengua extranjera, una producción a veces abrumadora de estudios sobre las nociones de ‘cultura’ y de ‘la competencia intercultural’ para que pueda estar al corriente de los planteamientos relevantes tanto por parte de didácticos de lengua extranjera como por autores en otras disciplinas (antropología, sociología, psicología, lingüística aplicada, para nombrar algunas). Se exponen igualmente unas actividades provenientes de varias disciplinas que el profesor de ELE puede llevar al aula. Además, se intenta informarle sobre el rendimiento de algunos materiales interculturales existentes de manera que sea capaz de recurrir a alguno de ellos de manera deliberada. Asimismo, se anhela presentar un repertorio original de contenidos culturales con respecto a la cultura argentina a tratar y/o a investigar en clase de español como lengua extranjera. Estos contenidos se agruparon en dos conjuntos, a saber, cinco dicotomías y siete uniones y vínculos presentes en la sociedad argentina. Para entender mejor el contexto de la enseñanza de ELE en Argentina para el cual los temas tienen mayor preeminencia, comentamos brevemente algunos datos y algunos materiales en uso. Como herramienta didáctica oportuna para abordar los contenidos sugeridos, se subraya el interés de las historietas argentinas, que reside, por un lado, en las ventajas pedagógicas del género y en ciertas características particulares de género desarrollado en Argentina, por el otro.
