Beginning at the Androscoggin River, in an easterly direction to the intersection of Summer Street and Riverside Street; thence along Riverside Street to Main Street; thence along Main Street to Frye Street; thence along Frye Street to College Street; thence along College Street to Campus Avenue; thence along Campus Avenue to Central Avenue; thence easterly across country to the intersection of Lafayette Street and Wilson Street; thence along Wilson Street to East Avenue; thence along East Avenue to Lisbon Street; thence westerly across Lisbon Street to the northern & eastern property line of the Promenade Mall to the Maine Central Railroad tracks; thence in an easterly direction along the Maine Central Railroad tracks to the southernmost intersection of Merton Boulevard and Lincoln Street; thence in a westerly direction to the Androscoggin River; thence along the River to the point of beginning.

SEPARATION ZONE:

Includes all areas between Line A and Line B.

Line A: Beginning at the westernmost end of Libby Avenue, along Libby Avenue to Main Street; thence along Main Street to Pettingill Street; thence along Pettingill Street to Central Avenue; thence along Central Avenue to Brault Street; thence along Brault Street to Belleview Avenue; thence along Belleview Avenue to Blanchette Street; thence along Blanchette Street to East Avenue; thence easterly across country to the intersection of Stanley Street and Sabattus Street; thence along Sabattus Street to the City Limits.

Line B: Beginning at the intersection of East Avenue and Webster Street; along Webster Street to Webster Road; thence along Webster Road to Crowley Road; thence along Crowley Road to the City Limits.

SCHEDULE OF RATES

ZONE ONE: One Stop: $4.00 for 1 passenger; $.50 each additional passenger. Additional stops on same basis.

ZONE TWO: One Stop: $5.00 for 1 passenger; $.50 each additional passenger. Additional stops on same basis.

ZONE THREE: One Stop: $6.00 for 1 passenger; $.50 each additional passenger. Additional stops on same basis.

ZONE FOUR: One Stop: $7.00 for 1 passenger; $.50 each additional passenger. Additional stops on same basis.

ZONE FIVE: One Stop: $8.00 for 1 passenger; $.50 each additional passenger. Additional stops on same basis.

SEPARATION ZONE: Crossing both Line A and Line B during same fare will be $.50 additional.

INTER ZONE TRAVEL: To be charged at the rate designated for the most distance zone.

NIGHT TIME TRIP SURCHARGE: $.25 in addition to the above zone rates between the hours of 9:00 pm and 5:00 am.

WAITING TIME: $1.00 for each three (3) minutes.

FUEL ADJUSTMENT: Based on a starting point of $2.20 per gallon for 87 Octane gasoline, a fuel adjustment of $.10 per call is allowed for every $.20 per gallon increase or decrease.

IMPLEMENTATION OF FUEL ADJUSTMENT

Upon verification by the Department of Finance that the price of 87 octane gasoline has exceeded the $ .20 increase or decrease for a period of fourteen (14) days, the City Clerk shall issue an order to the local taxi cab companies setting the rate authorized.
