Introduction to Beijing Guozhong Ceramics Museum

Beijing Guozhong Ceramics Museum is located at Ping’an Fu, Ping’an Street in the downtown area of Beijing, which is also called as “The second Chang’an Street”. The museum is the only professional ceramic art exhibiting museum, taking up 1000 m2.The curator, Mr. Zhang Zhishou, is known as Ceramics Master in China. He participated the design and construction program for Jianguo Ceramic, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse Ceramic for the Celebration of People’s Republic of China, and the China's Embassies Ceramic, the Great Hall of People State Banquet Ceramic for the Minister of Foreign Affaris. Since the establishment in 2013 of our museum, we have already hold over 20 high level exhibitions, including “the International Ceramic Art Exchange Exhibition”, “Chinese Ancient Ceramics Collection Forum & Elaboration Exhibition”, “National Women Ceramic Artist in Art College Exhibition”, etc. Also, we have been host of over 18 Ceramic Art forum, including “The Contemplation of Family Ceramic Education VS College Ceramic Education, Under the Global Situation of Ceramic”, “The Global Modern Ceramic Art Development Symposium”, “Neatly Coloring, the Symposium of Liling Coloring Glaze”, etc. We have invited Mr. Li Tieying, the former Chairman of NPC Standing Committee, Mr. Grande, the Vice Chairman of UNEsco, Mr. Kaufman, President of International Academy of Ceramics, Mr. Lv Zhangshen, Curator of National Museum of China, and Mr. Lian Ji, the President of Chinese National Academy of Arts to visit and made guidance of our museum. Beijing Guozhong Ceramics Museum has been dedicated in establishing academic study and culture exchange platform for international leading Ceramic professor, hoping to build a top Ceramic work and exhibition art palace over the world.
