15TH MAY, 2006 8-47 p.m. 11. Messages from Lok Sabha — I. The Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2006 II. Motion for Election to the Joint Committee of Offices of Profit. Secretary-General reported to the House two messages from Lok Sabha informing Rajya Sabha that Lok Sabha at its sitting held on the 15th May, 2006 — (i) had agreed without any amendment to the Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2006, passed by the Rajya Sabha on the 21st March, 2006; and (ii) adopted a motion recommending to the Rajya Sabha do elect four Members of the Rajya Sabha to the Joint Committee of Offices of Profit. 8-48 p.m. 12. Government Bill — Passed The Spirituous Preparations (Inter-State Trade and Commerce) Control (Repeal) Bill, 2005. Shri (Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution) moved:- “That the Bill to repeal the Spirituous Preparations (Inter-State Trade and Commerce) Control Act, 1955, be taken into consideration.” The motion for consideration of the Bill was adopted. Clause 2 was adopted. Clause 1, as amended, was adopted. The Enacting Formula, as amended, was adopted. The Title was adopted.
