Reservation For organisational reasons, please pre-register for all activities requiring “Reser- vation” directly with the partner business. If, for some reason, you are unable to take part in the selected activity, please make sure to deregister by the specified deadline. The number of available guides is limited, which is why we can only cater to a limited number of persons. Therefore, please bear in mind that there is a limit to the number of participants.

Alpine Farm Day: Yummy, the Cheeeese!
Where does our savoury mountain cheese come from? To find out exactly, join us on a visit of Alpe Rona. On the hike to the alpine farm, the guide shares stories, explains the surroundings and points out particularities along the way. Having arrived at the alp, you can watch the dairy-farmer as he makes cheese and explains which steps are necessary and how high-alpine farming in general works.

Rope-action with Abseiling
Which knots are needed for climbing? How can we cross the brook? How do we properly use a rope in steep forest terrain? We learn how to negotiate our way safely through nature and across a brook with few materials and can try out hands-on what we have learned.

Wilderness Expedition – Where Chamois & Groundhogs Meet
Why not join us on a walk in the wildly romantic Zalimtal valley up to Untere Brüggele Alpe. Along the way, and with some luck, we might come across playing groundhogs, stags, or chamois and watch them through our binoculars. Having arrived at the alp, the- re is a hearty snack waiting as we listen to the stories Maria, the farmwoman, has to tell. On our way back, there might be a chance of seeing an eagle circling above our heads.

Climbing for Beginners at Lake Lünersee
Climbing requires stamina. True, but nowhere else will you be so close to the mountains. We start with the sequence of movements in climbing, proper treading and gripping, we learn the most important knots, as well as correct securing and abseiling. At the end of the day, we will climb our first verticals. Firm-grip boots are essential.

Sunrise Experience with Mountain Breakfast
High up on the summit of Loischkopf we watch the sun as it rises for another day. Gradually, the coolness of dawn gives way to the first rays of sunshine. The early rise and the adventurous hike were worth the e¥ort: sunrise at 2,000 metres altitude has more than rewarded us. Apart from fabulous views, look forward to a hearty breakfast.

Life on the Mountain
As dusk sets in over the city of Bludenz, we stand outside Frassenhütte, where the innkeeper is already waiting for us. Together, we observe the semi-nocturnal animals and gaze at the stars. After a cosy night in the lodge, you can watch the sun rising from behind the peak of Hoher Frassen the morning after. Over a joint breakfast, we relive the experiences of the night.

Alpe Nenzigast – Living with Nature
On this tour, we explore alpine pastures and the herbs and plants which grow here in sheer amazing abundance in their natural habitat. On an extensive walk over alpine pastures we find out everything about animal rearing and life on the mountains. Afterwards we prepare alpine herb pesto from collected herbs. A snack of fresh bread, cheese and pesto braces us for our walk back to the valley.

Wild Animals – Tracing Alpine Inhabitants
Ibex and other wild animals such as groundhogs, eagles or chamois live at high al- titudes and in rough terrain. Most often, they tend to hide from the looks of curious hikers.
