Children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2021 to register. CHILDREN DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO REGISTER

Items to bring with you to register: ● Completed Arab City Schools enrollment form (This form is available online at w​ ww.arabcityschools.org/domain/55 or available for pick up at Arab Primary School.)

Copy of : ● Current proof of residency ○ Acceptable proofs of residency: s​ igned lease, deed, mortgage, most recent utility bill addressed to the parent/guardian at the residence, or the order to turn on utilities ● Child’s Birth Certificate ● Updated Immunization Form ● Child’s Social Security Card ● Guardian’s Government Issued ID​ (i.e. driver’s license) ● Any Legal Paperwork​ (i.e. custody paperwork) ● Out-of-District​ (if applicable) ○ To determine if you are out-of-district please call the Arab City Schools Registrar, Dr. Leah Keith @ 256-931-9260. ○ All new students who reside outside the Arab City Schools attendance zone will be charged an annual nonresident fee. The first child will be charged $500/year. The second child will be $300/year. The third child will be $200/year. There will be no additional nonresident fees for any subsequent children beyond the third child from the same nonresident family. ○ A check for nonresident fees should be made payable to Arab City Schools with your child’s name written on the check.

A mask must be worn and social distancing guidelines must be followed for entry to register. If you are sick, please stay home.
