WHY THIS DESTINATION IS GREAT The Seattle Great Wheel is a true icon in the city. Take a ride on the Great Wheel to see unique, incredible views of Seattle. With an overall height of 175 feet, this was the tallest Ferris wheel on the West Coast when it opened in June 2012. If you plan to ride the Great Wheel before heading back to The Edgewater, make sure to purchase tickets online in advance to avoid long wait times!
