Hello from Coffs Harbour!

We hope that you will be interested in coming to northern NSW to become an au pair for our two curious, gorgeous, cheeky kids! My name is Kiki and I work part time as a doctor. Jim works full time as an emergency doctor so if often working shifts. We have a 5 year old boy and 4 year old girl, Connor and Lei.

Connor is at school 5 days a week while Lei is at preschool 4 days. Connor is cheeky and sensitive, he gets emotional when he’s tired (or hungry) and will sometimes be difficult to handle. But generally he is clever, loving and non-stop. He loves animals, star wars and superheroes.

Lei is cheeky and quite tough. She likes to climb and enjoys being messy, but she also loves dolls, the colour pink and colouring. She’s a bit nervous around strangers and animals and will need some time to get used to you (it took our last au-pairs only a few hours!) – but she loves Disney princesses and all things girly!

We would like you to care for our children between 30-35 hours per week. This would include helping them get ready for school and pre-school (breakfasts, getting dressed etc.) and taking them there by car. In the afternoon we would like you to pick them up and then care for them until we get home in the evening around 6pm. Normally they eat dinner around 6pm so we’d love if you can help prepare the meals at least a few nights a week. On the day that Lei does not go to preschool she either goes to the park and does things at home or occasionally has a play date with a friend. As doctors sometimes we have to work back later so occasionally we might need you to do past 6pm.

Our suburb is a residential area about 15 minutes from the beach. There are loads of cafes, restaurants and the shopping mall is easily accessible too. About 2km away is a large shopping centre with cinemas, restaurants and loads of shops.

On the weekends we try to do activities like swimming at the beach, riding scooters, going to play centres. We like to travel occasionally on weekends and if you want we would sometimes like to take you with us.
