Nick J. Freeman is an independent consultant, currently based in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. He currently serves as an advisor to a number of development agencies, investment funds and business intelligence providers. Mr. Freeman was previously Head of Indochina Research for ING Barings in , and a Senior Fellow at the Institute of in Singapore. He holds a PhD in International Business, an MA in South- East Asia area studies, and a BA (Hons.) in Peace Studies. Mr. Freeman’s analytical work has been published widely.

George Abonyi is currently a visiting professor in the Department of and Executive Education Program, Maxwell School, , and Senior Advisor at the Fiscal Policy Research Institute, Ministry of Finance, . In his 25- year association with Asia, including 20 years based in Asia, primarily in Thailand and Singapore, Mr. Abonyi has held senior advisory positions with governments, international institutions and corporations. He has also held senior academic and research positions at: University of ; Anderson School of Management, at Los Angeles; of Singapore; Harvard Institute for International Development; and the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore. Mr. Abonyi received his BA (Hons.) in from the (1971), his MA in Economics and Systems Planning from in Toronto (1972), and his PhD in Strategic Management from the of Management (now the Anderson School of Management), University of California at Los Angeles (1978).

Atipol Bhanich Supapol is Associate Professor of Economics in the Schulich School of Business, York University. He was previously a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities LLC in New York. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, he was Country Manager and Head of Corporate Finance for NatWest Securities Asia/NatWest Markets Thailand. Mr. Atipol completed his PhD in Economics at in Canada, and has held positions at the University of Western and Wilfrid Laurier University. He was also a visiting professor at University and the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, and at Nankai University in . Mr. Atipol has served as a consultant to the United Nations (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and ESCAP), and a number of government organizations.
