Thames River Southwark Bridge TAXIS We do not recommend Taxis to and from for the airport as they take much longer, especially in rush hours. However, if you want to avoid the Underground (“tube”), take a train to Paddington Station,Victoria Station or Blackfriars Station (see below for details) and then take a taxi.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DIRECTIONS From Heathrow Airport (Total journey time should not exceed 1 hour 30 minutes) Take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station. Change on to the Underground (“tube”) at Paddington Station and take either the Circle Line (yellow) or Hammersmith City Line (Pink) eastbound to Moorgate Station. Now follow the ‘Walking’ directions below. Alternatively, you can change on to the Underground (“tube”) at Paddington Station and take the Bakerloo Line (brown) southbound to Oxford Circus Station. Then change on to the Central Line (red) eastbound to St. Paul’s Station. Now follow the ‘Walking’ directions below. OR Take the Underground (“tube”) Piccadilly Line (dark blue) eastbound to Holborn Station. Change on to the Central Line (red) eastbound to St. Paul’s Station. Now follow the ‘Walking’ directions below.
From Gatwick Airport (Total journey time should not exceed 1 hour 30 minutes) Take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station. Change on to the Underground (“tube”) at Victoria Station and take the Circle Line (yellow) eastbound to Moorgate Station. Now follow the ‘Walking’ directions below. WALKING From Bank Station (this station serves the DLR and Underground (“tube”) On exiting the station, walk down Prince’s Street until you reach Gresham Street. Turn left into Gresham Street and continue until Wood Street. Turn right into Wood Street. No. 88 is the last building on the left hand side. Please inform the building’s ground floor reception staff of your arrival.
From City Thameslink Station On exiting the station, follow the signs to St. Paul’s Cathedral along Ludgate Hill. Ludgate Hill turns into St. Paul’s Churchyard. Turn left at New Change. Continue until you reach Cheapside (One New Change Shopping Centre will be on your right hand side). Turn right into Cheapside and continue until you reach Wood Street on the left hand side of the road. Follow Wood Street to the end (crossing over Gresham Street). No. 88 is the last building on the left hand side. Please inform the building’s ground floor reception staff of your arrival.
From Moorgate Station (this station is a mainline station as well as an Underground (“tube”) station) On exiting the station, follow the signs to the Museum of London along London Wall. Turn left into Wood Street from London Wall (a cross roads junction), which is just before the museum. No. 88 will be on your right hand side. Please inform the building’s ground floor reception staff of your arrival.
From St. Paul’s Underground Station Once you have taken the escalator into the ticket hall, take the left exit followed by the right hand stair case, which will take you to street level. On exiting, continue straight and turn left into Foster Lane. Turn right into Gresham Street and continue until Wood Street. Then turn left into Wood Street. No. 88 is the last building on the left hand side. Please inform the building’s ground floor reception staff of your arrival.
