The Rolls Royce of music boxes were manufactured by Nicole Frères, Geneva and by far the best music was arranged and reproduced by an Overture Music Box. Mostly with only four melodies but with a very narrow comb, giving a much larger scale for the arranger and with the fat cylinder a much longer play time. This is a very fine example, with beautiful marquetry to the case and a nice selection of Mozart, Handel and Haydn melodies. Approx. 1870. 1 cylinder with 4 melodies. Size: 21,6 x 76 x 34 cm. This beautiful bird cage with 3 singing birds from aprox. 1885 is very rare and has a coin operated mechanism to activate the “singing”. It’s still is in perfect condition. Blaise Bontems (1814 - 1881) was the first inventor to really reproduce mechanically the singing of birds, but this particular piece is most likely made by his son – Charles Bontems. Kawasaki KX250 from 1987, in original, very good and working condition. The left side cover is no longer attached with the original click system, it is attached with 2 tie wraps. An extra original Kawasaki carburettor is included. Overall, the 1987 Kawasaki KX250 turned out to be by far the most-competitive 250 machine ever offered by the green team. It offered the slimmest layout, most powerful brakes, and most torque in the class. It was not as blazing fast on top as the Honda, but it was far easier to ride than the demanding red machine. Most of all, it was fun, with its barky low-end blast and razor-thin feel. 180 FERRARI 308 GTS QUATTROVALVOLE, 1984
"This last development of the 308 family with four valves per cylinder, or « quattrovalvole » to use the correct term, was produced in February 1984 and delivered to the USA. In 1995 the car was imported into Japan and the ungainly US bumpers were replaced with European ones, including the lights, and a stainless steel exhaust system was installed. The car spent the next 20 years in the land off the rising sun and was maintained by specialists from Tifosi&Mspeed. In 2016 the car was exported to the UK and maintained by the well known Greypaul agency in Nottingham. End of 2019 the Ferrari finally found its way into Switzerland and was registered here. The car received a new paintjob in 2016 and the cambelt was replaced in 2015, 600 km ago. With now 68’000 km driven and in a rare combination of black with a black leather interior the Ferrari presents itself in good condition. The last Swiss Veteran MOT dates from June 2020. This Jaguar was then delivered direct- ly to AVON-STEVENS in Warwick, one of the most renowned bodywork companies in England, who were consulted when it came to special Jaguar constructions, both for special superstructures and for racing. The aim was to work together with the Jaguar factory to produce a competitive convertible to test the reaction of the noble customers. Sir William Lyons (founder of Jaguar) - was very impressed with the development, design and sophistication of this E-Type Cabriolet successor (in gallery an archive photo before the trade fair in Turin). This "prototype" convertible was sold directly at the “Salone dell'automobile di Torino” auto show in 1976 Italy and, despite the relatively high sales price, triggered further orders in England, Scotland, Australia and Hong Kong, so that another 11 right-hand drive 12-cylinder convertibles were sold. They were soon used by showmen traveling with fairs and circuses as their homes. Romani began living in gipsy wagons around 1850, they called their home a 'vardo' and it became their most prized possession. This Gipsy wagon was built circa 1995 and is typically decorated with beautiful wood carvings on the outside. The wagon is still in very good condition. This German electric pig reproduction was made around 1950 and works as follows: after inserting 10 pfennig coin, you can operate the machine. The machine has German text. The right handle is turned while the left handle is held and the player receives an electric shock. The longer the player can withstand the electric shock, the stronger the current. The pig's eyes light up when it reaches 500 on the scale. These machines used to be very popular at fairs. Everything works properly and it's made from beautifully carved wood.
