Arrive in Vevey on your own and check into your hotel - the 5-star Grand Hotel du Lac, where you'll have a room with views of the lake. Be sure to pick up your Riviera Card, which gives you free transportation on the /Vevey Regional Public Transport Network. Nestled in a sheltered bay on Lake Geneva and surrounded by vineyards is the town of Vevey, with its mild climate and Mediterranean pines, cypresses, and palms. Enjoy exploring this charming town on your own.

This morning take scenic boat ride from Vevey to , enjoying the views of the lake and nearby mountains. Here you will have a one-hour tour of one of the most famous in - a medieval fortress on the shores of Lake Geneva. Be sure to look for the poet 's initials, carved on a pillar in the basement. After the tour, take some time to walk around Chillon and find a local restaurant in which to have lunch (not included). After lunch, make your way back to Vevey by boat or . If time allows visit Chaplin's World, a fun and interactive museum in Chaplin's former home about his work and private life - an experience for all ages.
